Okay, Let's Talk About This

Disclaimer: They are not mine never will be. If the charicters were mine dont you think that Buffy and Angel would be back together by now? I really wish they were though because then Buffy and Angel would be happy and together.

Authors Note: What if Angel would've actually *talked* to Buffy *before* he made the decision to turn back the hands of time. Would he of still done it? Would Buffy of convinced him not to go through with the bargin? and If she did How would she of done it? What would she of said? So I guess you could say this is my own challenge and I know I made Cordelia sound rude in this but for some reason I had the urge too do that and I also had the urge to do some good ole' Riley bashing which is what I do because it's *so* much fun!

Angel returned to his batcave and found Buffy sitting on the couch her leg's curled up on the couch the magazine she was reading slid off her lap she went towards Angel she hugged and kissed him and said "Oh thank God your allright I thought I lost you again!" He hugged and kissed her back only not as he usually does, she looked at him with fear and questioning in her voice "Whats the matter? Are you allright you didn't hug me back like you usually do?" "I'm sorry" she looked into his eye's and immedieatly knew that their was something wrong.

"Theirs something bugging you isn't their? Talk to me? Were did you go I was so worried." "I uh I went to see the Oracle's again." "Oh God you didn't do what I think you did! Did you?" Angel looked away and said "Yes I did" "Why? You made another decision without my input again!" She said angerly "No no I didn't I decided to talk to you first." Angel said trying to calm her.

"The Oracle's said you'd die if I stayed human and they said that the only way to take my humanity away is for them too turn back the hands of time as if this day never happend so that I can kill Mohra before it's blood made me human and I would be the only one who would remember."

"Big deal I'm going to die young anyway I'd rather it being by my duty then an old lonely women besides it's my problem now not yours." "I'm not just going to sit back and watch you fight alone and possibly die!"

"Then we fight together Mohra was right we are much stronger fighting together then alone even if you dont have vampire quilities and how can you even protect me if your not in the same town as me hmmm? The others aren't super natural beings and they've handled vampires and other evil forces for the last four years there regular joes just like you are now or have you forgotten about that little detail about my friends. All you have to do is get some extra training and lift weights besides when your injured I get to play nursemaid too you, but yesterday when I was lying in your arms I swore to myself that I wasn't going to lose you again! So I sugest that you dont take your vampirism back."

"Buffy we dont belong to each other we belong to the world of fight...." She slapped him across the face and said "How dare you! How dare you say that! That is so not true! We belong to each other as well as the world!" "Yes it is..." "Shut up! We can do both we did it before. Or is your love for me just a joke? Am I just another little girl totally crazy for you? Was Angelus the one telling the truth that you pretended to love me?"

Buffy said as tears started falling down her cheeks if that was the case she wanted to kill herself. Angel said "Buffy you know that is not true I do love you. For you I would do anything, for you I would face the firery pits of hell again." "Then why are you saying that, that we dont belong to each other that we belong to the world and if you loved me you would've talked to me before you made the decision to leave. The world treats us like crap despite everything we've done for it. The world doesn't even know what we've done for it! The fates have finally rewarded us with this! Why do you insist on putting us through all this torture."

"I haven't been happy since you left me I've been miserable and lonely and I was an easy target for Parker he took advantage of my lonliness, and yesterday for the first time in months I was happy again just because I was with you again, and I dont want to go back to being miserable I dont want to go back to burrying all those old feelings very deep inside of me again and get with that Riley Finn loser! I mean what kind of name is Riley Finn? I dont even know him like how I know you! It sounds like the name of a fish and please dating a cornball Iowa farmboy who talks about his damn cows! Please farmboys are so out! When I was dating a charming eighteenth century Irish gentleman who treated me like a goddess! I want to be with you and only you! Who looks sexy in everything!"

The tears fell harder down Buffy's face and she covered her face in her hands and she fell onto Angel's bed "and yesterday I thought that all that angst, sorrow, and heartache was finally going to go away that I've been carrying around since you left me." Buffy shot Angel a serious look "Angel you think you might be able to carry the burden of what we could've had alone but trust me sooner or later it'll start to break you! You wont be able too and sooner or later you'll realize what a terrible mistake you made by giving up your humanity I just know it and I can feel it and sooner or later your going to start becoming more lonely then you've ever been in your whole life I can feel it. My soul can feel that if you do this that your soul is going to be suffering. Besides their still might be a chance that Giles and Willow might be able to return your strength and healing powers too you you never know! How can you protect me if your not with me?" She said between her sobs and got back up crossing her arms over her chest and facing away from him.

Angel felt horrible he never thought his departure from her life would cause so much pain he thought that the pain was going to go away once he left her but it only increased by him leaving at this point on he'd be damned if he gave up there chance at happiness it's there turn for happiness. Their lives might be shorter but at least they'll be together The Powers That Be, The Oracles, The Fates, Destiny, and the gods have dealt them a winning hand for once he was defenently not going too pass this up, and Buffy's right Willow and Giles might be able to find a way for him to still be able to protect her.

He placed his hands on her shoulders and kissed her temple he brushed her hair back and said "I'm sorry Buffy, I'm so sorry." He kissed her temple again and ran his hands up and down her arms and placed a kiss on the top of her head. She turned toward him and said "Angel do you really want to give this up, give up on us, and what if I'm pregnant with your child you wouldn't want to give up your child would you, and their is a good possibility that I could be I mean we spent the last twenty-four hours making love and your human and we weren't useing protection. There's like a ninty-nine percent chance that I could be and I've always dreamed of having your children I know before it was just a fantasy but now it can be a reality. Angel I don't want any of that stuff that you think I should have without you, they mean nothing to me if there not with you and now you have a chance too."

"Also wouldn't you miss this." She leaned over to kiss him softly she placed her hand on his cheek and kissed him deeper then pulled away and pushed him back onto the bed and crawled on top of his body and started kissing him again only with more passion.

He tried to pull away but Buffy used her slayer strength to her advantage and pined him to his bed and continued kissing him soon he relaxed into her kiss and kissed her back. Buffy grinded her body against his and he flipped her over so she was on her back and he was above and kissed her savegely she kissed him back with the same intesity.

Buffy pulled away a pout settled on his handsome face and Buffy laid back on top of him and ran her fingers along his chest and said "Did I change your mind?" "I was such an idiot!" He mumbled and burried his head in her neck inhailing the sent of her vanilla and lavender perfume. Buffy giggled and said "Nope no arguements their! Now what was it that you promised me last night that we would make another day like yesterday!" Buffy said running her hand and nails down his chest and tugged at his sweatshirt and pulled it off his body and placing kisses along his broad muscular chest and over his heart.

His arms came around her and he rolled her onto her back while still kissing her, and she let him willingly and the lovers lost themselves in each other. They were going to make it no matter what it took.

A Higher Plan of Excistence

"I told you he wouldn't be able to go though with it!" "Hush brother remember Angel got turned human because The Powers That Be tested them. Have you not listened to anything I've said he is not a lower being he's equal too us just like the Slayer is there the strongest Warriors that the Powers have ever had. Also remember that if things would work out for them and if the demon would come back to life if he would still stay human."

"Well he did!" "I know but he was willing to give up everything up for her too live, and the slayer did promise herself she wouldn't lose him again. There meant to be together their soul mates and strong warriors together, and I'll show it too you."

The female Oracle waved her hand over the pool of water that they were watching their warriors in and showed her brother how they worked when they were together. They both watched the pool of water and saw how their warriors were when they worked together they were stronger happier, and faught like one. Like they were reading the others thoughts, and vampires were running in terror from them.

After a while of watching the lady oracle said to her brother "See do they not work together better as one? And look at them now." She spreaded her hands apart too seperate the two warriors and showed her brother how they work alone.

They were sadder and not as strong. "So tell me brother which one is better together or apart?" "Yes sister I see your point now what should we do?" "We should return Angel's super natural strength too him, healing powers and his ability to smell blood and his other hightend sences. Together they are strong apart they are weak" "We have to ask the powers first." "I'm sure they'll aprove The slayer and Angel are their favorite and the strongest warriors they have ever had.

"The Slayer and Angel are stronger together and happier together and happy warriors are better to serve us and the powers then depressed warriors. They have saved humanity numerious times together averted many apocolypses and there love is what gives them strength there love has been tested by fate many times and each time they have passed fates tests' and destiny is proud whenever humans find there soul mates and she does whatever she can to keep them together whenever humans find there soul mates so in time if we were to take back Angel's humanity she would do whatever she could to put them back together with no strings attached and these two are one of the lucky ones to find there soul mate hardly any people find there soul mate. I mean look at them now! Besides the slayer is pregnant with two beautiful baby girls who will save all of humanity."

She waved her hand in front of the pool and showed her brother how they were now they were laughing , smiling, playing , kissing and loving and he smiled approvingly the male's eye's glossed over he smiled and said "The powers have given us permision to return all the good vampire quilities." "Great now send a vision to the messenger!" "Right" and the male did just that.

Angel's Bat Cave

Angel was awake and Buffy was almost asleep he ran his fingers through her hair and along her bare back marveling at the feel of her silky skin he leaned over and kissed her bare shoulder blade. He said "Buffy" "What?" She said Angel leaned down and whispered in her ear "Can I keep you?" She looked up at him she smiled and said "Mmm-hmm." He placed a kiss on her cheek and she drifted off too sleep in his arms while he watched her sleep running his fingers through her hair and along her back and arms.

He whispered terms of endearment in Gaelic in her sensitive ear his lips tickled her ear and she smiled in her sleep it wasn't even nightfall it was a little pass 9:30 A.M. he started too quote one of Shakesperes sonnets too her and Buffy was falling asleep to the sound of his sweet voice.

A Couple Hours Later

Buffy woke up and turned to find Angel smiling lovingly at her and said "Good afternoon sleepy head!" "It's afternoon?" He nodded and kissed her "Let's go out to eat I seem to have worked up quite an appitite!" Buffy said looking at Angel seductively "Okay if thats what you want. I'm pretty hungery too!" "Yeah then we can go to the beach," "do you think we should invite Cordelia and Doyle?" "Yeah I want to get to know Doyle. You two seem like friends and he's Irish isn't he? I can hear his accent." "Yeah Doyle is Irish like me and we are buddies." "So let's get dressed and let the four of us go out on a double date too lunch and to the beach together."

Angel nodded and they got out of bed and helped each other dress. Once they were dressed they clasped hands they passed the kitchen table and they laughed together when they saw the table on it's side and the broken dishes on the floor. While laughing together Angel whispered into her ear "We sure finished the table off quickly didn't we baby?" "Yeah we certainly did! Your going to have to get a new one." "Yeah but well probilly finish that one off quickly too."Angel whispered into her ear and she giggled.

Angel led Buffy to the elevator still holding Buffy's hand he pushed the up button and the minute the elevator doors closed they started kissing each other passionately when it dinged they pulled apart and Angel opened the gate they stood side to side smiling sugestively at each other.

They went out hand in hand and found Doyle and Cordelia sitting on the couch talking about something or other and drinking Irish coffee Buffy and Angel could feel their attraction for each other just by looking at Cordelia and Doyle and smiled secretly at each other. Buffy said to Angel "They are defenently atracted to each other." Angel smiled at his girlfriend and said "Yeah they defenently are, but Doyle's not quite ready to date yet. He needs his space." "How come? He and Cordy look so good together." "I know that honey but Doyle's ex-wife showed up last week." "Doyle was married?"

"Yeah but last week she filed for divorce, and you know what the weird thing is." "What?" "They had a love just like we do." "Uh oh does that mean the same things going to happen to us?" "No I dont think so, Doyle and his wife Harry didn't take the time to get to know each other they just rushed into things and marriage they weren't even twenty when they got married they were young they thought the love they had was eternal. We on the other hand have known each other for four years and we didn't rush into things, sure we had bumps in the road on the way but now theirs nothing standing in our way and we're also soul mates. You know that baby. Are love survived through hell. Our love was strong enough too get me out of hell." "Yeah I've known we've been soul mates since we had our first kiss. So you think we should wait until I'm past twenty before we get married?" "Buffy I'm ready to marry you when you are ready."

"Well we should probilly make our prensence known huh." "Right." "Cordelia Doyle" Angel said toward the two of them. They looked at the couple and Cordelia said "I dont even want to know what you two have been up too all morning." "Cordy we've just been naping!" Buffy replied Angel said "Hay Buffy and I were wondering if we should all go out to lunch together and then hang around the beach for a while." Cordelia and Doyle nodded and said "Sure why not! It can be a double date."

Doyle said "Hay Angel man I got a vision from The Oracles earlier today." "What did you see?" "The Powers That Be decided that you and Buffy work better together then apart so they made you like a mortal vampire you have all their strengths and non of their weeknesses." "but I stay human?" Buffy placed her hand over Angel's heart and felt the steady thump-thump thump-thump of his heart she said resting her head over his heart "Yeah I feel your sweet heartbeat." Angel smiled at her and leaned down too kiss her softly she kissed him back only deeper Cordelia said "Ugh cant you two go three seconds without kissing?"

They pulled away annoyed Buffy said "I cant help it Cor he's so cute and kissable" "and I just want to eat her up!" Angel replied "Is that so!" Buffy beant up and kissed him again Doyle answered their question "Yeah thats what they decided." Angel said "I thought I felt some of my vampire quilities back I mean I feel and hear my heart beating and the shades are up and I'm not burning but I guess now I know why I still feel like a vampire."

Cordelia complained "Great does this mean I'm out of the job!" "Who said you were Cordy?" Buffy asked. "Well if the PTB want you two too work together whats going to happen to Doyle and I?" Buffy admited "Cordelia does have a point." "Will just have to decide something I guess." Angel replied. "Why cant I just move here and join you guys? I mean having a Slayer can be a plus." "Theirs no room for a fourth person, Buffy you cant just come back into Angel's life and decide to join the club." Cordelia said a flash of hurt crossed Buffy's delicate features Angel said coldly "Cordelia thats enough!" Buffy went downstairs and Angel followed "Princess was that really necesary? Cant you just be happy for them? I am." "Buffy has only costed Angel pain."

"No she hasn't their both happy now. Weren't you able to tell! Maybe if your lucky Angel might have given you that raise you want so badly but now I bet he's mad at you for treating Buffy the way you were! Besides Buffy seems like a very nice and a very beautiful lass I want her around with her around Angel will be a lot happier and he'll probily not brood all the time. He looks so much happier then he has ever has since I've met him. You want that dont you?" "Well yeah but it's true why should they get another chance? I dont want to see Angel get hurt and hole himself up in his dark apartment and brood for hours on end because of Buffy!"

He put his hand on Cordelia's shoulder "Princess I know ya dont mean tat! Everyone including those two deserves a second chance okay fer those two maybe t' more of a fifth chance or more but The Powers That Be think their stronger and happier together or else why would they have wanted Buffy and Angel t' work together." Doyle said in his Irish accent "I mean I dont know how they were when they were in Sunnydale but The Powers That Be say they 'ere a whole lot stronger fighting as one together ten they must've been. So cant ya just be happy for them? Besides ya still might get t' raise ya want so badly!"

Cordelia felt comforted by his gentle hand on her shoulder and the serious look in his gentle, warm blue eye's. She smiled at him and said "Thanks Doyle your right I do want Angel to be happy again I think of him as more like a big brother then a friend, and if Buffy is what makes him happy then I guess I should except that. I should probilly appolgize to Buffy I was acting like a bitch too her."

Angel reached the last step of his apartment and saw Buffy sitting on the couch still hurt knoting her hands in her lap he sat by her he took a hold of her hands and said "Buffy dont mind what Cordelia says, she's just being herself." "She's right though I cant just walk back into your life and join the club." "No she wasn't I love you and thats what I was thinking about doing that same thing."

"It sounds like though that Cordelia doesn't want me around." Angel put a comforting arm around her shoulders but still held one of her hands with his and pulled her too him "Buffy, honey that doesn't mean that Doyle and I dont want you around." "Do you guys?" "I do Buffy more then anything these last few months apart from you have been torture worst then hell, and I've been there! You have no idea how much drinking I've done over these last few months to try too get you off my mind."

"Everyday since I left Sunnydale I've been dreaming about being with you again and when I was lurking around Sunnydale during Thanksgiving Willow was yelling at me for leaving you. Everyday I'm away from you I feel like another part of myself dies, everyday I ask myself why I even left you in the first place every day I get so tempted to call you just to hear your voice or drive down to Sunnydale and lurk in the shadows to watch over you. I live with it but sometimes it's so hard to be away from you. Actually I hide my true feelings from Cordy and Doyle." "So do I."

"The last time I remember drinking so much these last few months was when I was living back in Ireland and when I was mortal before," "Have you slept with anyone since you moved here?" She asked with fear in her voice he smiled sincerly at her "No Buffy I haven't, your the first person I've slept with since I moved here I haven't even looked at another women since I've been here, but I've had plenty of women throw themselves at me but I've just brushed them off there not you. This is also the city that I fell in love with you when I first saw you sucking on a red lollipop chatting with your friends and smiling outside in the sun and you were called to your destiny. Sometimes when I'm out driving I drive by Hemery and remember the spot that I fell in love with you at and sometimes I sit there or stand there. My heart and soul belong to you my love and only you." "Really?" Buffy asked "Yes my love really."

Buffy smiled softly and Angel continued "and I'm pretty sure Doyle wants you around also." "Why haven't you come home then?" "Well because honey I belong to Los Angeles now as well as you. Not to mention there are people here who need my help and The Powers That Be want me here and I've even made some friends here."

Buffy giggled and said "Do you know how ironic that sounds that you've made some friends here coming from you Mr. Shy no talking cryptic warning guy?" Angel smiled at her and said "Well Doyle has helped me to open up too people. Instead of just staying in the shadows brooding." "I could imagine so if you have a detective agency." "Hay the dectective agency was Cordelia's idea." "Yeah it sounds like something Cordy would do."

"Where am I going to live though and what about school?" "You can live with me if you want to and college it doesn't matter. You really dont have to go to college it's a choice." "I dont think I'm going to go to college I think I'll work with you guys instead. I bet other slayers didn't even go to school after they were called." "Probilly not." Angel chuckled out.

Buffy gave a thin smile and said "Thanks Angel I love you your so good too me." She hugged him he hugged her back and said "I love you too" he then leaned down and kissed Buffy passionately on the lips she kissed him back needing more comfort from him.

They pulled away from each other when they heard someone clearing their throat they looked annoyed at the former cheerleader "What are you doing are you going to hurt my feelings more?" Buffy asked coldly "no Buffy I came to appoligize for acting like a bitch. Doyle made me come to some realizations that maybe I haven't exactly been sapportive of this whole thing. So I guess what I'm saying is that I'm sorry I was way out of line just dont you ever think of breaking his heart he's like become a big brother too me." She pointed to Angel and said "You either Angel!" Both Buffy and Angel nodded at her.

The former May Queen looked over at the table and said "What happend to the table?" Buffy and Angel blushed a new required trait for Angel in over two centuries, and smiled secretly at each other they also laughed together Buffy said "Cordy you dont want to know." "Why not?" Then she realized what they were talking about "Oh God did you two have sex on the kitchen table? You had sex on the kitchen table!" They nodded and Cordy said "Oh God you two are sick! Doyle and I eat off their you know!" Angel smirked and said "Well now
you guys cant."

Cordelia went back upstairs too the office and Cordy said "oh Angel do I have permision to do a comercial for our company?" Angel said "a what?" "a comercial you know something to get us some more clients." Angel shrugged and said "I dont see why not." "Great but I'm going to need you and Buffy to be apart of it." "Cordy let's just wait until we talk to everyone and tell them everything."

Buffy asked "Do you think we should go to Sunnydale now and tell everyone Angel?" "If you want too Buffy." "I do and then Cordy we'll start filming your comercial." Cordelia nodded and said "Great it'll give me time to prepare it! Are you two heading to Sunnyhell now?" "The sooner the better." "Okay see ya guy's later." With that she left Angel's apartment "Ready?" "Yeah were's your car?" "I want to change my shirt first." Buffy nodded and Angel went to the closet he took his sweater off and picked out his black silk shirt Buffy said "Maybe you shouldn't wear a black shirt."

"What one do you sugest?" Buffy went to the closet and looked through Angel's clothes and picked out his white t-shirt and handed it too him he put it on over his torso and he put his black leather jacket she said "Were's your car?" "Come on" Angel took her hand and led her to an underground garage she ran her fingers over the shiny black convertable and said "I love your car! I never got to tell you." Angel laughed "Do you always have the top down?" "Yeah most of the time except when it's raining." "Angel this is California it hardly ever rains!"

Buffy said "Now I know why Doyle calls this your batcave." Angel laughed and said "Yeah thats why he does because I have all my wepons here and I also have a training area. Doyle also told me that I remind him of batman sometimes." "I just cant believe your whole apartment is the basement of your workplace." "Yup I owned my old apartment in Sunnydale and the mansion." "Your kidding?" "Nope I'm serious. Come on let's get going." Angel opened the car door for Buffy and shut it." "The others are going to be surprised when they see you in the sun."

He handed her his cell phone "You've got a cell also?" He nodded and said "Call them all and tell them too meet at Giles' and that you have something to tell them all" "Okay" Angel started his car engine and Buffy dialed the slayerette's numbers and told them "meet at Giles' I have something to tell you guys. I've got a ride home." They drove along the city of Los Angeles with the sun warming their faces and the breaze blowing off the pacific ocean.

On to: Telling Everybody
