Prologue

Angel just crossed the Sunnydale, Los Angeles border marveling at feeling the California sun washing over his face and the breeze gentle blowing Buffy's hair around her face it was a smooth ride. The shiny convertable drove softly along the coast with the hood of the convertable down. Angel kept alternating between looking at the road and looking at Buffy who looked so radient in the sun and who was softly singing along to the radio. He couldn't help but marveling at the sun making her hair look like spun golden silk and it blowing around her face. He had never seen a women who looked so beautiful in the sun.

Buffy notticed he was looking at her and said "What?" "You just look so beautiful in the sun beloved, you look so radient." Buffy blushed and said "Well thank you you look pretty handsome yourself." It was true she not only saw the browness of his eye's and hair but also some hints of red in his hair. "Thank you baby."

He finally saw the Welcome to Sunnydale sign knocked over which means that Spike had recently arrived in Sunnydale Angel arrived at Giles' apartment and Buffy notticed how tense Angel was and said "Your nervious aren't you?" "Yeah" "Dont be you'll be fine!" Buffy knocked on the door and Angel said "While were waiting how about we do some other things." Angel said rubbing his hands along her thighs and she said "Like what?" "Oh this!" Angel pushed her up against the wall and kissed her passionately she giggled against his lips and placed one of her legs against his.

Willow said sitting on the couch "I still think that she and Angel got back together!" "What ever you say Will we all know how stubborn Angel is and no matter how much he loves her he wont allow himself too get back with her as long as he thinks he's doing the right thing." "Fine whatever believe what you want." She heard the knock at the door and said "I'll bet thats Buffy now we'll just see who's right!"

Willow opened the door and saw Buffy and Angel making out with Buffy pushed up against the wall and his hands tangled in her blonde hair. They heard the door open and they sheepishly pulled away from each other and blushed at the wicca. They said together "Hi Willow." "Hello yourselves come in." Buffy and Angel followed her in with Angel's arm planted firmly around Buffy's waist. Willow said "See I told you so Xander!"

Giles said "Hello Buffy, Angel!" "Hay Giles!" They said together cheerfully the others in the room did a double take when they saw Angel standing in the mid-afternoon. Xander said "Hay what the hell is going on here how did deadboy arrive if it's mid-afternoon." He pulled the blinds up and they all waited for Angel to retreat into the shadows but instead the warm California sun washed over him and Buffy.

Part 1

They just stood their and saw that the sun bathed over Buffy and Angel. Spike on the other hand got hit by a streak of sunlight and said "Ack bloody hell!" He covered himself up with his trench coat and retreated into the bathroom. "Okay what the hell is going on here I thought that Oz said you destroyed the gem of Amara!" Xander challenged. "I did Xander" "Care to explain this too us?" Giles asked they nodded and Angel brought Buffy over to a recliner and he sat down and Buffy perched up on his lap Angel said "I'm human" "What how did this happen I thought you were a vamp?" Anya asked.

Together Buffy and Angel explained about Buffy first visiting Angel and then them fighting Mohra and it turning Angel human and then fighting Mohra again and Angel almost giving it all up. After explaining everything Giles said "So Buffy you went to Los Angeles you and Angel faught a Mohra demon together Angel's and The demons blood mixed and it had regenerative properties and turned Angel human, but then you almost gave it up and Buffy convinced you not too." "That about sums it up." "So the curse..." "Is no longer a concern." Willow said excitedly happy for her two best friends "Excelent you two can finally be together!" "So what are you guys going to do now?" Xander asked.

"Well that's kind of hard to explain, you see theirs more I have all their strengths and none of their weeknesses. My friend Doyle got a vision from The Powers That Be, and they told Doyle that the Powers That Be want Buffy and I too work together but since I have a buisness," "So I'm going to be moving to L.A. and join the team of Angel Investigations." "So your going to work instead of do College." Giles asked "I dont have a choice Giles The Powers That Be want Angel and I to work together their our bosses since I dont work for the council anymore."

"Besides they need the extra help and Angel said that theirs a lot of vampires in Los Angeles. In fact he told me that he thinks all the vampires that were hanging out in Sunnydale became scared and ran off to Los Angeles." Giles said "Well I guess all I can say is you two deserve happiness." "Um I dont mean to be a party pooper Buff but what does your mother think of all of this?"

"We haven't talked to her yet Will." "You guys do know she's not going to be happy! Especially about you dropping out of college." "I dont care what she says Xand she cant control my life anymore I'm almost nineteen and I'm living on my own. I'm not her baby anymore I'm a young women now. Were going to talk to her while were here. Besides I still have to pack."

Xander said with a grim expresion "Well let me just say one thing" "What?" Xander broke out into a smile and said "Let me just say that no one deserves it more then you two!" "Thanks Xander" Buffy got up off of Angel's lap and hugged Xander "you dont know how much this means to us!" Angel added "Yeah considering everything that has happend." "Come on honey we'd better get going." Buffy said. "Right We'll see you guy's later."

Angel opened the door for Buffy and they left Buffy said "They took that well wouldn't you say?" "Yeah I'd think so, but I dont think your mom is going to be too thrilled." "As I told Xander my mom cant control my life anymore I'm almost nineteen and she cant tell me what to do or not to do anymore." "In fact I dont think your moms going to be happy too see me." "Why wouldn't she" "I dont think she likes me very much." "What makes you say that?" "Well before I left she kind of came to see me." "Uh oh did she say things to you
about us?"

Buffy asked on edge if her mother was responsible for all the months of heartache then she wouldn't be held responsible for her actions. "Yeah she was the one who told me to leave." "Well knowing that your human might make her feel better in fact I think knowing that your human will probilly make her feel a whole lot better." "Maybe your right okay let's go." Angel led Buffy back to his car and they drove them too Joyce Summers' house and Buffy used Angel's cellphone to tell her mother that she was going to drop by for a visit cause she had something to tell her.

Part 2 : The Summers House

Angel pulled up too Joyce Summers' house he parked in the driveway. Buffy and Angel approched the porch Angel looked nervous Buffy took his hand and squezed it reashuringly "everything will be okay Angel" and Buffy knocked on her mothers door and Joyce opened it and was happy too see her daughter she said "Buffy!" She said "Hi mom!" They hugged and then Joyces' smile faded when she saw the man with her she said coldly "Angel what are you doing here?" "Mom I came to talk to about something and Angel and I." "Oh okay come
in"

Buffy and Angel went in and sat uncomfortably on the couch and they were silent for a long time Joyce said "So are we just going too sit here in uncomfortable silence or are you two going to tell me whats going on."

Together they explained the situation rather hesitently especially the most important part when they told her about what The Powers That Be wanted. "So The Powers That Be want Buffy and I to work together and since I have my own buisness in Los Angeles then that means that Buffy needs to move to Los Angeles." "What dropping out of college!" "Is it okay? Please mom I want too I can help with Angel's buisness besides The Powers That Be want Angel and I to work together and he has his own buisness in L.A." "Let me sleep on it okay." "I guess we could stay for another day." "Come on Angel let's head back to the dorms. Will see you tomarow mom." "Okay I'll see you two tomarrow."

Part 3 Restfeild Cemetary

Angel drove him and Buffy to the Restfeild Cemetary to do a sweep of patrol they started making out under the stars, only stopping when they needed to catch their breaths. Their was a rustiling sound in the bushes but Buffy could feel it wasn't a vampire.

She almost groaned when she saw Riley Finn she had seen him out here he said "Buffy hi." She gave a thin smile and said "Hi" Angel stepped out from the shadows and took a possesive hold on Buffy's waist he didn't like the way the guy was looking at her. She smiled up at him and said "A little possesive are we?" She scolded playfully.

Riley stopped talking when he saw a tall dark and handsome man standing by Buffy with a possesive hold on her waist and Angel said "Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend." "Oh right how rude of me, Angel this Riley he's a TA in my Pshyce class Riley this is Angel my boyfriend." Angel said "Nice too meet you." He offered his hand out to Riley and he took it and shoke it.

Riley felt a pain in his chest when she saw the way she was looking at the tall dark handsome man "Your boyfriend?" "Yeah so." "Nothing I thought you didn't have a boyfriend?" "We had relationship issues to work out and we worked them out over Thanksgiving." Buffy and Angel shared chuckles and Buffy said "I kicked him in the head in an ally."

Angel smiled at her and captured her lips in a soft kiss full of love and devotion and that broke Riley's heart more this guy was not only better looking then he was, but also he was older, and was completely devoted to her and they were looking at each other like they were the only one's in the entire world.

They pulled away from each other when they heard a growling in the bushes and Buffy said "Excuse us Riley." "I'll see you in class tomarow?" "Actually I'm moving to Los Angeles tomarow with Angel." She saw the look on his face and felt slightly bad for hurting his feelings but she didn't really think much of Riley especially since she had the man who her heart desired and ached for ever since he left and human.

Buffy and Angel attacked six strong Hostiles that came out of the bushes Riley didn't have any wepons with him since he forgot to check in with Pro. Walsh and check out wepons from the Intiative's weapons locker and he just watched in facination and heart break as they took out the Hostiles moving as one like they were reading each others minds. They dusted four of the hostiles and the other two retreated with no problem which amazed him more he had to admit that Buffy and Angel were a great team.

He envied this Angel person he held Buffy's heart just like it looked like she held his heart. Riley saw the way he was looking at her with worship, dedication, and redemption in his dark eye's and it was clear that no other women would exist for him but Buffy and it was the same with her and his heart shattered completely when he saw how happy Angel made Buffy she was a lot happier then he had seen since he first met Buffy.

They completely forgot about him and they walked out of the cemetary with Angel's hand in Buffy's golden hair he pulled her too him and placed a kiss on her forhead and they rested their forheads against his and they smiled at each other. Riley left he didn't want to see anymore of what he could never have. Buffy asked "Will you stay with me tonight?"

Part 4: Stevenson's Hall

Angel drove them to Stevenston hall and Buffy asked "Will you stay with me Angel?" "I can do that I *want* to do that." Angel kissed her passionately and she kissed him back with the same fire and pushed his jacket off his shoulders and pulled his white t-shirt over his head Angel did the same to Buffy she helped him remove the shirt and he pulled her into his arms and ran his hand along her bare back which left a trail of fire along her skin she just loved Angel's hands the way they always left fire on her skin the way they made her feel complete and there magic touch. They fell back onto Buffy's bed and lost themselves in their love and fell asleep holding each other. With Buffy's head resting on Angel's bare chest.

Part 5: The Next Morning

Angel woke up the next morning to find that Buffy was still asleep next to him with her arm around his torso and her head resting on his chest. It felt so nice having Buffy in his arms and the sun shinning on his face warming his skin.

He leaned down and gave Buffy a goodmorning kiss she smiled against his lips and kissed him back and wrapped her arms around his neck giggiling and Angel's arms came around her and he rolled her onto her back without breaking their kiss. They stopped kissing do to lack of oxygen and Angel was still above her and said "goodmorning." he leaned down and kissed her again and she said "mmmm defenently!" They kissed again and Angel trailed his kisses down to her neck she tilted her head upward to give him better access and moaned softly he then nuzzled it with his nose breathing in her musky vanilla scent he loved so much she giggled.

He rolled off of her and placed his arm around her shoulders "Do you think we should get dressed and head back to my mothers?" "The sooner we know the answer the better. Do you have any classes today?" "Nope none today" "Then we probilly should and then if she approves we can come back here and I can help you pack." "Okay let's go even though I'd rather stay here all day." She said and curled one of her legs under his. He placed a gentle kiss on her lips, they got out of bed and helped each other dress, and went back out to Angel's car.

Part 6: The Summers Residents

They arrived at Buffy's mothers house and she knew it was them she opend the door and invited them in. Buffy and Angel sat back down on the couch and Joyce sat across from them and Buffy said "So mom what do you say?" "Well I guess I'll let you move to Los Angeles, but you must write too me and call me every once in a while." Buffy was excited and said "Dont worry mom I'll keep in touch with you." "I guess it's a little too late too tell you too be careful."

"Yeah it might be." Buffy said under her breathe. "Thank you so much mom." She hugged her and she hugged her daughter back and gave Angel a hug and said "You'd better take good care of her Angel and never hurt her again." "Dont worry Mrs. Summers I never will." "Do you think you two could stay for dinner." "Sure we can do that but right now I need to pack, but after dinner were going to have to head too Los Angeles." "Okay I understand, I'll see you guys later then." They nodded and left her Joyces' place.

Part 7

They stopped by and Buffy droped out of U.C. Sunnydale, and then they went to her room and Angel helped her pack her things. They spent the whole day packing they were done with it and it was time to go back to her mothers they did and had dinner with her and it made a fine conversation and once it was done Buffy visited her friends they were all gathered at Giles'.

Buffy said "I guess this is it for now." Willow said "I'm going to miss you." "I'm going to miss you too." Buffy and Willow hugged, she then hugged Giles, Xander, Oz, and Anya. "I'm going too miss all of you." Just as she was about too leave she then thought of another thing "Dont be strangers now. Oz can tell you were to find us. You guys are welcomed to visit us anytime!" "Dont worry we will and Xander will probilly visit at the times you dont want to be interupted." Willow said "Hay!" Xander shouted Buffy grinned and said "I'm sure that Cordy or Doyle will make sure we dont get interupted by him."

"Well I'd better leave before I start bawling like a baby." Buffy waved goodbye to them and she left and went out to Angel's car.
