House Hunting

Authors Note: Wow this is the 8th story in my 'Human Angel Series' how about that my eighth story! Aren't you all proud of me? I'm so enjoying writing this series it's such a rush, but I think I'm going too have them wait until the twins are born too go on there honeymoon and for any of you who like NSYNC I'm sorry I kinda insulted them here. So please forgive me for it! I made a mistake Buffy is eight months pregnant because this is now the month of June not seven months. I know the title's corny but I couldn't think of another title.

Prologue

The wedding reception was going to last until sunset right now Buffy and Angel were doing the cake feeding. Buffy went too the Backstreet Boys and said "Would you guys like to stay and pull the entertainment?" "When does the reception end Mrs. Donnelley?" Nick asked "It last until sunset." A. J. said "We'd love too but were starting our black and blue tour in a couple days and we have to prepare our first stop is St. Paul, Minnesota."

"Okay I understand, but I thank you for showing up too perform our wedding song." "No problem we owed Angel one." Brian said "Well good luck on your tour." "Thanks Buffy. When we hit Los Angeles here's a front seat ticket since I'm guessing your going to want to come and it's so hard too get tickets." "Yeah. I love your guys' songs hay maybe you can teach NSYNC a thing or two." Buffy said grinning "I'm not too fond of them. You guys are far more talented you write a lot of your own songs."

Nick handed Buffy a front row ticket and said "are wedding present too you and you can use it when we come to L.A." "Thank you." They left and went onto there tour bus. Angel came up from behind and said "Come on wife it's time for the cake feeding." "Good!" Buffy said as Angel placed his arm around his wives shoulders. They headed to wear the cake was the guest surrounded them and Angel took a knife and together they cut it and placed it on the plate. Buffy took some and placed it on his nose he said "hay" and chuckled "It's tradition!" Buffy said innocently and licked the cake off his nose "Well then I guess I get to do it too." Angel said with a wicked grin and placed it on her nose as well as her cheek she said "Hay my make up is going to get messed up." The thought was instantly forgotten when Angel licked the frosting off of her.

Buffy took a piece of cake and fed it to Angel he did the same thing and Kate came up and said "Buffy would you mind if I share a dance with Angel?" Buffy said looking at her friend "No not at all Kate. I trust Angel." She turned towards Kate and said "I trust you too Kate." "Don't worry Buffy I won't hit on him or flirt with him or anything he's a happily married man so I really can't." Kate joked.

The two women laughed and Angel lead Kate out to the dance floor and they started dancing but Angel wasn't holding her as close as he held Buffy.

Then Xander asked Buffy if she would spare a dance she said "Sure why not." He lead her to the dance floor and they started dancing until the song was over.

As Angel and Kate danced Kate said "How come you never told me your last name?" "I don't know I guess because it just wasn't all that important too me. Buffy is lucky to have you Angel." "I'm lucky to have her." "She is awfully nice and she makes you so happy." "Yeah she does." "I'm just curious if she wasn't around do you think there would've been a chance for us?" Angel replied with a small but sympathetic smile "I don't think so Kate my heart and soul was already long taken by Buffy. I only hope that someday you can find someone that'll make you truly happy." "I know I could tell how much you two loved each other when she was walking down the aisle you two were looking into each others souls. Like no one else existed but you two."

The song ended and Angel let go of Kate and she said "Thanks for the dance Angel." "Anytime Kate." He went back over too Buffy he went towards Xander and said "Can I have my wife please Xander?" "Yeah here you go man." Xander said handing Buffy off too Angel.

She had dance with Oz, Doyle, Xander, Hank and Giles and Angel had dance with Kate, Cordelia, Anya, Willow, Joyce and Faith.

The reception had kept up since sunset the guest had left one at a time.

Buffy had called Dr. Lisa and they had an appointment at 7:30 they went home to change out of there wedding clothes and changed into some other clothes. Buffy changed into a pair of baggy overalls and a brown T-shirt she pulled her hair out of it's bun and brushed it out and Angel changed into a pair of blue jeans and a black silk button down shirt.

Buffy said "You never saw my hair. How do you like it?" Angel looked at her hair it was at the same length it was during her Junior and Senior year of high school. "I like it why isn't it permed though?" "It costed extra to get it permed."

"It coasted extra and besides personally I prefer my hair short and straight so I kept it that way." "Well, either way I still think you look beautiful!" "How could I be Angel look at how fat I am. I'm as fat as a cow a fat ugly cow." Buffy said gesturing too her growing belly.

"You still look beautiful too me even more beautiful because inside are two little babies of ours." He kissed her forhead and said "Don't worry you only have one more month to go if not less." Buffy smiled at him he always knew how to make her feel better.

"Come on we have to go see your Doctor." Angel said "Okay." Buffy said Angel slipped his arms around her shoulders and they walked out of his apartment. Buffy said "We should probilly find a place that has a little more sunlight." "I know but when we return from our honeymoon. What should we get a house or an apartment?" "Well we would have to get something close too here, so we might have to get an apartment."

They got into Angel's car and he drove them too Buffy's monthly doctor appointment.

Part 1: Doctor Visit

When they got to the doctors appointment they sat in the waiting room and waited.

A nurse came out and said "Mr. and Mrs. Donnelley." Buffy and Angel stood up and fallowed the nurse.

The nurse lead them too a room and she said "Just sit there and Dr. Lisa will be with you in a moment." Buffy and Angel sat still. Only Buffy moved towards Angel and started too kiss him he kissed her back. They kissed for a while until Dr. Lisa came in she smiled at the newely married couple it was evident they were in love with each other she cleared her throat and Buffy and Angel pulled away from each other and found Buffy's doctor smiling largly at them.

"I'm guessing you two are married now?" "Yes we just got married this afternoon." "Congratulations! Buffy I want you too sit on the table and I'll get the ultra sound." "Okay we also have something to ask you when you get back." "Okay."

Buffy looked at her husband and said "Angel I just had a thought we haven't thought up a name for our daughters yet." "We haven't. What would you like?" Buffy thought it over for a while "Charity Le Anne Donnelley and Trinity
Erica Donnelley. What do you think?" "I love those names even though I was thinking we could name one of our daughters after my sister or mother." "What was their names?" "Shannon Melissa Donnelley was my mothers name and Kelly Maria Donnelley was my sister's name." "No I really like the names I picked out don't you?" "Of course." "We can name our next daughter after either your sister or mother how about that?" He kissed her and said "Deal."

Dr. Lisa came in with the ultra sound she said "Buffy lie down." Buffy nodded and was lying down Angel helped her seeing as how her pregnancy was making it difficult. Dr. Lisa lifted her shirt up and put petroleum jelly over her stomach and placed the ultra sound on it and a picture showed up on the screen.

Angel was astounded this was the first time he'd been able to come with her without buisness keeping him from her, so he was seeing his children even though he's seen photos that Buffy has brought home, but for the first time he was able too see them move and gently touched the screen and said "Those are my daughters." "Yes Mr. Donnelley here's one of them and here's the other one."

Buffy smiled at the expresion on Angel's face. "There beautiful." Angel said touching the screen and was extremly happy.

Buffy asked "How are they doing?" "There both extremly healthy and happy developing nicely just like there sappose too, there a perfect size and as long as you don't smoke, drink alcohol, excersise unless it's a special work out group for pregnant women or do anything rash, and as long as you don't drink caffine they'll be just fine."

"Um thats bring's me to another question." "What is it Angel?" "Well Buffy and I are going to be leaving for our honeymoon and I'm wondering if it would be okay or if we should wait until after the babies are born. What do you suggest?" "Were are you going?" "Were going to go to my Native country which is Ireland."

"Well, Buffy only has one more month to go. Do you think you could wait just one more month it'd probilly be healthier and better who knows while your on your honeymoon the babies could be born because sometimes babies are born during the eighth month and I can imagine that you don't want too go into labor while you and your husband are spending time together on your honeymoon am I right Buffy." "Yes you are" "and it's a week from the 26 which was when the babies were concieved am I right Novemeber 26 Mr. and Mrs. Donneley?"

Buffy and Angel shared smiles it was the best day of both of there lives. "Yes." Angel said not looking away from Buffy. "So we should wait until the babies are born too go on our honeymoon?" "Yeah that would be best. To wait until then maybe a couple weeks after your kids are born." "Okay." Buffy said "I guess we can wait and when we do go we'll have Cordy and Doyle babysit them."

"Come on Buffy lets go." "Okay." They sat up and headed home and when they were in the car Buffy said "So I guess our honeymoon will have to wait." "I'm afraid so, but it'll give us some time too go look for an apartment or small house near my company."

On the way back to Angel Investigations Buffy and Angel looked at some houses and apartment complexs and headed home they cuddeled in bed and Buffy said "What a great way to end a perfect day!" "Yes and it's our first night as husband and wife." They fell asleep.

Part 3: House Hunting

The next morning Buffy and Angel went too look for a place and while driving a few blocks away from Angel Investigations their was a beautiful town house with a for sale sign up.

They got out of the car and went up the stairs the house was white and Buffy said "Nice digs!" "Yeah." A represetive came up too them she had blonde hair and piercing blue eye's and was wearing a blue jeans and a red strappy tank top and looked like she was in her late teens and early twenties she said "You two look like your interested in this house newly weds?" "We're just looking and yes we are."

"Well you came to a good place this is one of the safest neighborhoods in L.A. theirs police officers on duty around the clock and security istalled at every house and not to mention a nice detective agency down half a block I believe it's called 'Angel Investigations.'

Buffy and Angel smiled at each other the represetivie looked at them and pointed to Angel "Your the Angel right? Of Angel Investigations." "Yes I am." "So it would be a good walking distance from your company. Would you like a tour?"

"Were not in a rush." "Okay come on." Buffy and Angel clasped hands and the representative said "by the way my name is Brittany if your wondering." She extended her hands and Buffy and Angel both shook her hands. "It looks like your expecting." Brittany asked Buffy referring too her stomach "yes I am another month." "Then you came to the right place this is a good safe place to raise a family it's one of the safest neighborhoods in L.A. There's even a lovely park with a pond and pool nearby and some bike trails." "I know."

Brittany lead them into the house Buffy and Angel looked through the place in the living room there was even a bay window and no wallpaper and there was no carpet either just hardwood floors.

She showed them the kitchen and it was a peninsula kitchen and there were two bathrooms on the first floor plus some other rooms even an office and an extra bedroom. They looked through the living room and Buffy said "Angel think of what we could do with this place." He smiled and said I know there's a lot of possibilities. I know. That room over there would be perfect for training and a work out room." "I agree!"

Brittany then brought them upstairs were there were four bedrooms all of them had bay windows she walked them into a master bedroom were there were a couple bay windows that got a look out at the ocean and another one of the city there were two bathrooms upstairs and one of them was in the master bedroom.

"Well, now you've seen this entire house. What do you say?" Angel looked at Buffy and said "Whatever you want." She nodded at him and said "I love this house it's gorgeous and it reminds me of the house I grew up in, I love it but do you?" "Buffy anything that's fine with you is fine with me." He turned too the representative "Is there anything wrong with the house Ms." Angel said giving her an intense look that he always knew turned women on in the past. She shivered her heartbeat picked up Angel smirked and thought inwardly 'works everytime!' She said "No, no nothing at all." Buffy became jealous Angel kissed her and said "Don't worry honey I love you." The smile returned too her face.

Brittany smiled and said "okay here sign these papers it has the monthly lease and what the owners want for the house and signing the papers too show you two own this house." Angel filled out the necessary paper work and handed it too her. She said "Thank you and enjoy your new home."

Brittany went out too the for sale sign and put a sold sign up and walked away. Angel said "Were going to have to pack everything up." "I know and look at wallpaper samples and carpet samples."

They headed back too Angel's apartment he called a moving van and they said they could be there by the middle of next week. Buffy called Doyle and Cordy and told them too come too there place.

Part 4

In a few minutes Cordelia and Doyle arrived and went downstairs Cordelia said too her boyfriend "I wonder what they have too tell us." "Well I guess will find out won't we princess." "I guess so." They went downstairs were there was tea and cookies set up at the coffee table in the living room.

"What is it?" "Well Buffy and I found a place to move into you know because this place has a total lack of sunlight." "Were?" "It's just half a block down the street." "When are you moving there?" Cordelia asked "The mover guy's said it would take a few days too get down here so we have time to pack everything and you two can help us." "We would be happy too!" Doyle said "defenently."

For the rest of the afternoon the two couples talked and helped Buffy and Angel pack there things up.

At about 7:00 Angel said "Why don't we take a break from packing and go out to dinner together! Like a double date." "I like that but were should we eat?" "I kinda have a craving for pizza." Angel said Cordelia and Buffy said "Then let's go eat at pizza hut and we don't have to dress up."

"I agree with that if they offer whiskey." Doyle said Cordelia scolded him and said "just remember you promised not to drink as much when you are with me." "No worries princess I'll try not to drink too much." "Okay let's go." Buffy said the two couples left and went into Angel's car on the way too the restraunt they stoped at the house he bought and said too Doyle and Cordelia "This is the place we picked out."

They got out and Buffy and Angel showed them the place. Cordelia said "This is a nice place I'll get my decorator too help you two with wallpaper and carpeting so it'll match with Angel's furniture." "Thank you Cordy." Buffy said.

They then drove too Pizza Hut and agreed on a pan pizza with sausage and half pineapple pizza since Buffy loved pinapple on her pizza and they also ordered a sausage, peporoni and extra chesse insider pizza and enjoyed there meal.

It was 11:00 by the time they got back after watching a 9:00 P.M. movie and went home.

Part 5: June 24, Middle of the Week

It was Tuesday June 24 Buffy and Angel were all packed up. The moving van approched Angel Investigations and loaded the furniture all the work out material and Buffy and Angel's belongings after about four or five trips too and from the van and company.

Angel got into his car with his wife and friends and lead the moving guys too there new place. Late last week Cordelia's decorator had helped them pick out the wallpaper and carpeting and placed it on the walls and floor and Cordy promised them the designing went with their furniture.

Buffy and Angel helped out and Cordelia and Doyle helped place there stuff were they wanted them and the house looked completely stunning and homie.

When everything was set up and in place. The newly married couple sat on the couch and enjoyed their first night together in there new home.
