Spoilers: 'Sanctuary,' 'IWRY,' but no 'Hero'
Authors Note: This is going to be a fun piece it takes place in the last scene of Sanctuary Buffy needs to get bitched at she really does, so I'm going to have Angel bitch at her she deserves it! Right guys? Buffy's been acting like a such bitch this season! Okay I know the title doesn't fit but I couldn't think of a good title.

"Do you know what makes it's new?" "What?" "I trust him and I know him."

Angel just smirked and said "So your saying that you never trusted me and that you never knew me!" "I'm not saying that." "It sounds like you are too me and that's just a bunch of shit Buffy! How can you say you don't trust me that you don't know me! I know you trust me and you know it too the evidence is right there on your neck! He shouted angrily pointing at the scar on her neck from him biting her "and also how can you say you don't know me you do know me and you know that you know my dark side and good side just as well as I know you! I seem to recall a couple of times when you've told me you trust me with your life!"

"I don't know what your talking about!" Buffy lied "Okay let me refresh your memory um let's see after you gave me true happiness the curse lifted and for four months I was hurting you and mocking you and trying to break you then after I came out of hell you still loved me and have you forgotten that you forced me too drink your blood, oh that's right you're good at forgetting."

"Why are you saying these things too me I thought you loved me." Angel looked shocked and angry "So you're saying that I cant bitch at you when you deserve it! When you come here and rub your new life in my face and you don't expect me too feel anything! What do you expect me to say huh 'oh that's nice so long? Thanks for breaking my heart!' Well guess what babe I have feelings too you know and do you know what I feel now?" She shook her head "Pain! I still love you Buffy and I always will until the day my life ends every girl I meet from now until the day my life is over will always come in second place in my heart. You're also making me think that I never met anything too you."

Buffy looked away ashamed he was right about everything how could she say she doesn't trust him when she has his mark on her neck and how can she say she doesn't know him when she does know about his evil half and his good half. Most importantly how could she make him think he never meant anything too her when he means the world too her.

"You have no idea how much you've been hurting me hell you've hurt me more then I've hurt you, you bitch!" She looked shocked he had never called her a bitch before. "Why are you calling me a bitch" "because you deserve to be called one!"

He was aware of his words but didn't take them back she deserved too be called a bitch "The question is how can you treat me like this, I have never blamed you for anything in the relationship we had I always blamed myself for the mistakes of the past. I've always treated you like the only goddess in the universe, I've always been there for you, I killed my sire and old lover to save you, I gave you a wedding ring, you sent me to hell and I still loved you, I never lied too you about anything after I promised you that I'd never lie too you ever again and I kept that promise!" Buffy looked ashamed again he was right while Riley blamed her for the death of Professor Walsh even though he wasn't on his drugs he still blamed her and threatened her.

"You don't even know what I gave up for you! I gave up my one and only chance at true happiness and humanity so you could live and I may never become human ever again!" "What what are you talking about?"

"When you came here at Thanksgiving I was human for a whole day we made love for the whole day broke the kitchen table I got to see you in the warmth of daylight and I gave it all up so you could live. If you would remember that day you probably wouldn't be able to stand the thought of another man touching you and you know what Faith told me!" Buffy shook her head.

"She told me that when she switched bodies with you. Your so called boyfriend slept with her and didn't even know that something wasn't right I would've been able too tell in a heartbeat which means he must think of you as a slut."

"Not to mention you jumped into bed with the first guy who would look twice at you since we broke up and I'm talking about Parker!" "How did you know about..." "A little birdie told me while running hot pokers through me!" He said bitterly disgusted with the fact that Buffy gave herself to another man and also the fact that Buffy has probably jumped into bed with Riley too "I don't know what your problems are or what your issues have become, but I do know one thing your not the same Buffy Summers I fell in love with and still in love with and always will be in love with. Your someone else and you know what I hate this new you! There I said it!"

(A.N.: Wow I feel better already! How about you guys?)

"You wanted me too move on Angel!" "Yes and you have and your happy. I'm happy for you maybe it's time for me too move on too but I'll never be able too because your all I want!" He started walking away it was now or never.

Buffy just stood there and said "Angel wait!" He turned around and spat angrily "What!" "I love you only you, I've tried not too but I cant stop." The anger melted from his eyes as she repeated the words he said too her the night of her seventeenth birthday. "Me too I cant either." Angel said as he quoted the lines Buffy said that fateful night when their entire relationship got messed up.

"I don't know what's been with me these last few months maybe it's the consequences of you leaving me in the first place, but your right I'm not the same person I'm someone else and I don't like this new me and I know that I don't deserve you your also right that I've hurt you more then you've hurt me." She was unsure was really a relationship that was basically physical like what she and Riley had worth the no touch, emotional, real love relationship like what she and Angel have or had worth giving up?

"I guess maybe I've buried my true feelings deep down inside of me and tried living that normal life I stopped having when I was fifteen, every time I've been with Riley I've only missed you more, I'm not happy I'm lonely and miserable I don't trust him I don't know him and he doesn't know me, and I don't love him I lied to you, I lied to him, and I lied to myself."

She looked up at him her emerald eyes brimmed with tears "but you do know me you know my soul and I know yours and I love you only you and like I said I don't deserve you but I'm begging for you too take me back I miss you so much, because every time I'm with Riley nothing feels right too me everything should be cool not warm his kisses his touch, his body they should be cool not warm, but you you do feel right too me. You understand me he doesn't. Everything feel's right too me when I'm with you. Your touch, your kisses and your body they all feel right too me they feel cool like they should be."

Angel went over too her he said "I love you too, and I'm sorry for bitching..." "no don't apologize for that I deserve it. I'm so sorry." He took her into his arms and said "It's okay" he kissed her softly with all the passion and love he had for her too let her know that nothing could make him stop loving her she melted into his kiss all thoughts of Riley and the consequences vanished from her mind she just focused on Angel's kisses he pulled away and said "Wow what about Riley." "Riley who!" She said smiling he smiled in satisfaction and said "Now that's the Buffy Summers I fell in love with and know!" They laughed and smiled together Angel gathered her in his arms and kissed her again they kissed and kissed again and Angel moved his hand up into her hair.

Suddenly she moaned and clasped her head in pain and fell down onto the couch in the office Angel became frantic and said "Buffy!" He sat next to her on the couch and rubbed her temples.

Buffy suddenly saw everything from 'the day that never was' the sewers the demon, Angel becoming mortal kissing underneath the sun, making love on the kitchen table and breaking it, peanut butter and chocolate, Cookie-dough-fudge-mint-chip ice cream, the demon coming back to life Buffy clinging onto Angel promising never to forget what they shared and the whole day starting over.

When the visions ended Buffy looked at Angel's concerned face and said "Are you okay? What happened? What did you just see?"

Buffy felt like such a slut and a jerk now she fell into Angel's arms and cried she said between her sobs "I just remembered everything from the day that never was. Oh Angel I forget when I promised that I wouldn't how could I have forgotten for so long I feel like such a slut. Now I wish I never would've let Riley touch me." He smoothed some hair out of her face and said "Shh it's okay it's okay. I'm here now. I could never think of you as a slut ever your an incredible person. To me your the most incredible women I've ever met." He wrapped his arms around her and held her while she cried.

*****Higher Plan of Existence *****

The Oracle's watched their warriors in the pool of water before them. They watched there warriors Angel was comforting the young slayer in the aftermath of her remembering the lost day that Angel gave back. The female said "She remembered!"

The male said "Impossible!"

"Her knowing about that could prove to be dangerous and it could get her killed!" "We cant permit that what should we do?" "Set things right give him back his humanity and he can still have his strength, abilities, and healing powers and his work with the other Slayer received him redemption." "No maybe we should just make her forget again."

"Why she'll just remember again if she remembered it was meant to happen, and next time she might not have Angel there to comfort her. Besides if it happened it was meant to happen." "And put the world at risk.."

"No they can still be happy and save the world can they not. What is better depressed warriors or happy warriors. Besides they deserve it! Angel has never been the same since that day he's been a lot more depressed." "So what should we do?" "Like I said before we should return his humanity his strength, agility, and healing abilities." The male Oracle debated it for a long time and said

"Okay fine let it be done let him 'live!'"

*****Angel Investigations *****

Buffy's sobs quieted down "How are we going to do this?" "Shh don't focus on that now. Just focus on the moment." Buffy laid her head over Angel's heart "thump-thump" "Okay I must be dreaming." "What?" "I hear your heart beating." "Your serious?" She took his hand and placed it over his heart and suddenly he fell too the ground gasping in air for his newly working lungs.

Buffy fell down next to him and said "Angel!" She ran her fingers through his hair he looked up at her with soft brown eyes and she said "you okay love?" "Yeah I'm fine what happened?" "Do you feel different?" "Yeah I feel human and I still feel like part vamp."

As if on cue Cordy and Doyle came into the office and Doyle said "That's because the Oracles made ya human again man and your still part vamp you still have there strength, healing, and abilities." "How do you know?" "I had a vision they said let him 'live'. The Oracle's decided that you two finally deserve happiness and also because of your work with Faith, Angel." Without a second glance Angel took Buffy's hand and they retreated downstairs too his bat cave Doyle said "Well there going to be down there for a while." "I'm guessing....."

Cordy thought for a while and said "I'm guessing the minimum amount of time there going to be down there will be five days." "I think we need to break out the champagne this is definitely worth celebrating." "I agree with you Doyle."

Doyle and Cordelia clasped hands and they headed for Cordelia's apartment to make up champagne and leave the two lovers alone and report at his apartment tomorrow."

*****Angel's Bat Cave ******

Buffy and Angel laid curled up under the covers with Buffy's arm draped across Angel's chest and with a happy smile on her face. Angel wan running his fingers through her hair and asked "How do you feel?" She moaned and said "Very pleasant, complete and very blissfully happy."

She was spaced out and said "Are you okay?" "Yeah just thinking." "About what?" "About how right this feels" "How right does it feel?" Angel joked and they chuckled together "Very very right," He kissed her forehead and said "Definitely." She then darkened "what's the matter?" "I have to head back too Sunnydale today!" "When?" "Right now I'm afraid I didn't bring extra clothes with me. Or else if I did I would stay longer." "Come on Buffy cant you stay a while longer?" She thought for a couple of minutes "Well okay but only for a couple of hours." "Come on we need to talk."

They got out of bed and got dressed and then sat outside on the couch Angel said "Okay were are we going to go from here?" "Well we could always try the long distance relationship, oh damn!" "What?" "Riley I forgot about him!" "Are you going to stay with him?" "What are you mental? Now that your human. Please do you really think I'm going to let you get away from me again, and go back to that Iowa cornball Riley Finn." Her voice then became seductive "Especially after what happened the last few hours?" She said smiling seductively at him her eyes heavy with passion.

"No I guess not," he said laughing a full throated laugh at his stupidity she smiled she had never heard Angel make a full throated laugh before it was music too her ears like his heart beat. "Well I guess I should be going now? I have class tomorrow." "Need a ride back?" "No, but can I take your car?" Angel said "Do you have your license?" "Yes I do!" She took it out and showed it to him. "Okay but be careful with it!" He tossed her his car key's and car alarm remote and said "Be careful driving now!" "If you need it you can just call me or e-mail me and come down to Sunnydale and take it." He kissed her sweetly and said "Sound's like a plan to me." "Okay!" Buffy kissed Angel with a longing. "Angel if I don't leave now I'll never be able too."

Angel said "Wait before you leave I want to return something too you" he went into his bedroom and came out carrying something a black box he said "open it" she did and saw her claddagh ring that he gave her for her seventeenth birthday and Angel continued "I landed right on top of this when I got out of hell I've held onto it since hoping one day I could give it back too you someday.

There's something I didn't quite tell you about it before in my country it's used as an Irish wedding band we've been married for almost four years. When you wear yours and I wear mine it means by the laws of my people and my land that were married." Buffy had tears of happiness in her eyes and said "Legally?" "Yes legally." "So that means I can call you husband." She thought for a while and said "Hmm I like that husband!" Angel laughed and said "so do I 'wife' I like that too!" He savored being able to call Buffy his wife.

She looked over at the table and said wickedly "Next time I come here were going to have to break your table again!" He snickered and said "sounds like a plan to me!" He kissed her again and then he took her hand and lead her too the elevator they went up together and when they got out it was mid-afternoon and the sun was shinning brightly Angel said "I'll escort you out." "That's very gentleman like." Angel escorted her out too his car and gave her another kiss he opened the door for her and shut it. She smiled happily and placed the key's in the ignition and started the car and drove off down the street.
