Disclaimer: I dont own them! I really wish that I did though because if I did then Riley wouldn't exist, and the only guy that Buffy has had sex with would be Angel! After a few times of love making when they left Angel's bat cave it was 11:30 and Buffy and Angel were hanging out at Santa Monica under the sun and going to the theme park to go on the rides. Right now they were walking through the theme park sharing a chocolate ice cream sundae and nachos which Buffy introduced Angel too. As Angel was trying to reach for it she got Ice Cream on his nose and giggled mischeiviously like a little girl he said playfully "Hay my nose is cold now baby!"

She giggled and said "I can warm it back up" Buffy got on her tippy toes and licked the ice cream off his nose he captured her lips in a kiss and reached for the ice cream and took it from her she said "Hay!"

"I paid for this remember."

"Yeah but you could've asked" he got her back Angel said "I got you back" he laughed and licked the ice cream of Buffy's nose and took a chip and dipped it into the cheese and ate it. Placing his hand in her hair and kissing her deeply and then resting her forhead on his. They were at a sucker game and Angel said he was going to try to win something for her he hurled the balls across the booth as fast as a vampire which shocked him, Buffy and the owner and gave her the prize which was a large stuffed scooby she kissed him and said "Thank you!"

Once they were away from the booth Buffy said "Whats going on you threw those balls like you still had your strength!"

"I know it shocked me too. Let's not let that ruin our day though okay will find out later!"

"I agree" the couple continued walking through the amusment park stopping at the sucker games with Buffy having a bag full of the big prizes of the games due to Angel's mysterious return of his super strength and when they came across the old fasion roller coaster Buffy said "Oh Angel we've got to go on their I love rollercoasters." She pulled her boyfriend over to the line and they waited in line.

After ridding the rollercoaster a few times it was 3:00 P.M. and both Buffy and Angel had tans considering they had been spending almost the whole day outdoors. They were walking hand in hand to the horse stables they were watching the surf come in and out it was pretty high and Buffy remembered about Titanic were Jack told Rose that in Santa Monica they would ride horses on the beach right in the surf and she told Angel that and they agreed to go horse back ridding until they had to meet Buffy's father spending the time at his apartment when they weren't making love thinking of a story to tell to her father and had it all planed out for tonight.

She was smiling the whole day she had heard Angel laugh and joke it was beautiful music to her ears she almost thought of it as the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow were the leperchaun leads you to the gold. The leperchaun is a figure in Irish mythology so Buffy thought it was ironic since Angel's an Irishman. She counted all his laughs and all his jokes and she counted at least twenty times. It was like without the demon inside Angel was a totally different person.

He noticed and said "Hay whatz up with you?"

"Oh it's just that this is apart of you I've never seen before I counted you at least laughing and making jokes twenty times today I even caught you pulling a couple pranks."

He gave her a charming smile and said "I told you I'm a funny guy. Remember?"

"Yeah I know but it's just a shock."

He ran his hand along her face and through her hair and said "Without a demon inside it's nothing but peaceful."

Buffy and Angel spent the rest of their time together horseback ridding it was easy for Angel since thats what they used for transportation back in the 1700's so he taught Buffy how to ride a horse and she caught on pretty quick. While they were getting on their horses Angel said "You know back in the 1700's women had to ride their horses with both legs on one side no mater what their station unless their cowgirls or in carriges."

She said "Really I didn't know that besides this is the 1990's not the 1750's"

"I know I just thought I'd tell you for some reason."

"It's okay. We should go horseback ridding again some time."

"Yeah maybe we should." Angel agreed They rode for a while and returned the horses to their stables and Buffy said "What time is it Angel?"

Angel looked at his silver watch and said "It's about 4:30"

"Oh God we'd better hurry up and meet my father!"

Angel put his arm around her shoulders and said "It's okay sweetie everything will be fine. I have something I want to give back too you."

"What?"

"Your ring" Angel reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a black velvet jewlery box and gave it to her she opened it and saw her claddagh ring in it she handed it to Angel and said "Put it on me please"

"Sure" Angel took the ring from her and slipped it on her left finger and Buffy kissed his ring like she did a year ago and he kissed her ring and hand.

Buffy and Angel went to his car and Angel asked "Do you want to go dancing after dinner?"

"Sure I'd love too! That was one of my favorite things to do when I lived in L.A. also I loved going to the Amuzement park, dancing at this club called the Tropical Sun" she leaned up and whispered into his ear "Thats were I learned that dance I did with Xander."

He nuged her head with his nose and asked hopefully "Would you do that dance for me tonight baby?"

"I had planed too! I also loved to go to the beach swiming, and I loved to go too the mall with my friends or should I say fallowers."

They arrived at his car Angel opened the door for her and she slid in and he closed it and got into his side of the car, and they drove. Angel took scooby from her and put him in his trunk so that no one would steal it and the other stuff animals Angel won for Buffy.

When they arrived at the restraunt that Buffy and Angel were meeting her father at. Angel opened the car door for his beloved and offered Buffy's his hand and helped her out of the car she took it willingly smiling at him and she got out Buffy reached up on her tippy-toes and gave Angel a soft kiss and said "Have I ever told you how much I love these adorible eighteenth century manners of yours?"

"No you've never comented on them"

"Well I like them a lot!"

"Thier still a habbit too me. I've been taught them my whole life when I was living in Ireland. How to properly greet a lady and that kind of thing and how to treat a lady even though when it came to treating a lady right I wasn't really an ace on that." Angel said sheepishly thinking about how horrible a person he was before useing his looks to take advantage of a women.

She said "What could you have possibly done?"

"Do you really want to know?" She nodded and he said "Well I use to use my looks to take advantage of women and talk them into bed, and then dump them afterwards. I also use to drink a lot too I was drunk at the time I encountered Darla my father always was disapointed to call me his son and my mother always warned me that drinking would get me killed." He said ashamed also with sadness Buffy said "Oh it sounds like when you were mortal before you were like Parker."

"Yeah pretty much I found out about him from Spike." Angel said brooding for the first time that day. "You know what else?"

"What?"

"I remember telling my mother a few times that it feels like somethings missing inside of me and she said that it was love and she was right and you've filled up the missing space inside of me Buffy Anne Summers."

Buffy said reashuringly "Dont worry about it Angel I'm sure your fathers really proud of you now and your getting a second chance at living and your future is a clean slate." "

Yeah and I vow to be a different man and you know I love you more then anything."

She reached up and placed her hand on his chest and said "I love you too." she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately he pulled her closer and kissed her back.

He said against her sweet lips "We should probilly head in your dad's probilly looking for us."

Buffy pouted and Angel said "I'll make it up to you later baby."

"Is that a promise?"

"Yes!" With one more sweet kiss Angel took out a remote control from his duster pocket and put on the anti-theft system and then put the top of his covertable up then placed his hand in Buffy's silky hair and she put her arm around his back and they walked into Apple Bee's. Buffy scaned the restraunt for her father and saw him she went up to the waiter and said "Were with him!" Buffy said pointing to herself and Angel and then pointed to Hank. the waiter nodded and took out two more menu's and lead the couple too her father.

Hank sat up and said "Angel O'Conner I'm Hank Summers Buffy's father."

Angel offered his hand out to him and said "Pleasure to meet you sir."

"Pleasure's all mine! Buffy said your Irish were's your accent?"

"Well I've done a lot of traveling so as I traveled I kinda lost my accent but it's still their but you have to listen really well if you want to hear it."

They all sat down and Hank pulled out the third degree that all fathers do and Angel retold the story of his life and family that they made up.

Hank said "So Angel how long have you've had your buisness, and how does it flow?"

"Well sir it's kinda slow but I just started it up on October 5th, but I moved from Sunnydale too here over the summer. So my buisness is still pretty new to L.A. citizens."

"What kind of buisness is it?"

"It's a dectective agency I've helped people out."

"I'm asuming you live on your own?"

"Yes my family got killed in a car crash and I was the only one who survived."

"How do you take care of yourself and pay for your buisness?"

"Well my family was very high classed and they left everything for me in their will and I own the whole building and my apartment is right below my buisness. So I dont do much traveling to get to work."

He joked and Hank let out a small chuckle he defenently liked this boyfriend of Buffy's he was very respectful towards his elders, and he was defenently more responsible and mature then any of her other boyfriends.

"What are your intentions with my little girl?"

"I love her very much sir I know it seems odd coming from a guy my age but it's true I would never push her too do anything she didn't want too."

Buffy smiled lovingly at him and leaned over to give him a kiss which he returned willingly they only kissed briefly because Buffy's father was present.

"I dont mean to be offending but what kind of name is Angel."

Buffy said "Daddy! I like his name it's very hevenly and perfect for him!"

"I'm sorry princess it's just kind of a weird name for a guy."

Angel took a hold of Buffy's hand he kissed the top of it and squezed it reashuringly that shocked Hank too no end Angel was extremely charming and gentleman like Angel said "It's okay baby," "Well Mr. Summers my actual name is Liam O'Conner or better name would be William O'Conner."

Buffy almost choked on her food, but stoped herself she never knew what Angel's actual name was the only name she always thought that his name was Angel and Angelus

"Then why do you go by Angel?"

"Well because it's a better known name to most people and I like it a whole lot better then William." Angel said mysteriously thinking about the Watcher's diaries about him. The rest of dinner made a fine conversation and Hank gave Buffy her approval and said "Buffy can I talk to you alone?"

"Um sure daddy!" she kissed Angel softly before going out to the lobby to talk Buffy said "So what's your final say?"

"Well I really like Angel or should I call him Willam?"

"I'm more use to Angel."

"Okay I really like Angel he's a great guy for my little girl, and I like him a lot better then your other boyfriends I've met."

"He's responsible completely devoted to you and know's how to talk to his elders, own's his own buisness and is a work-aholoic even though he's seven years older then you. You were right he is different then other older men who take advantage of younger girls. So you have my blessing to date him he seems too make you really happy."

"He does daddy. I've never been happier with anyone else but him."

"That's all I want for my little girl."

"Thank you so much daddy! Would you trust us to be alone together?"

"Yes as long as your careful and he doesn't push you to do anything you dont want to which is good because I'm working again tonight."

"Oh believe me daddy he never would!" She then heard the other thing he said and said "Daddy are you actually giving me permision to spend the night with him?"

"Yes I guess I am."

"Okay who are you and what have you done with my father?" Buffy asked jokingly and Hank laughed and said "Yes I'm fine princess it's really me."

"Daddy do you think before I head back to Sunnydale we could spend some father daughter time together?"

"Sure if you want and you can bring Angel with us. I really want to get to know him more."

"Then maybe you two should do some bonding together and I could hang out with Cordy, or some of my other friends."

"How about tomarow Angel and I do some bonding?"

"Ask him,"

"I get the feeling that Angel's going to be my future son-in-law."

"You got that right daddy! We probilly going to get married some day, and I hope it's soon."

"Well you two have my blessing when you do."

They headed back to the table were Angel was waiting patiently for them to return. "Well we're going to get going. Angel's taking me dancing." Buffy said "Okay princess I was about to leave too." Hank was going to pay but Angel said "let me Mr. Summers I'll pay."

"No Angel it's okay I can do it."

"Okay" Angel said Hank paid for their meal and left the tip. "I'll walk you two to Angel's car."

"Thanks Mr. Summers" He walked with them to Angel's car and he took out his remote and clicked the anti-theft system off and put the top of his convertable.

Hank investigated the car and whistled he said "This car is a beaut Angel. What is it a 1999 crysler do you have a thing for black?"

"Yes it is Mr. Summers, and yeah black is sort of my color but I'm not in any cult or anything." He said seriously "I just think it goes better with my complextion."

Hank and Angel shoke hands and Hank said "It was nice to meet you."

"Pleasure was all mine." Hank gave Buffy a hug and kiss and left when he was out of sight Buffy said "How come you never told me your actually name is William? Does Spike know that?"

"No he doesn't." Angel took Buffy's hand he kissed it and asked "Do you still want to go dancing?"

"Yes I do! Let's go!"
