Summery: Okay this takes place right after Buffy and Angel fall asleep and Doyle comes downstairs to tell Angel that Mohra's still alive. I was wondering what if Angel *did* do what Doyle wanted and woken up Buffy? This is what I think.
Disclaimer: I've said it once and I'll say it again. They are not mine! I really wish they were though, because the show would be a lot better, and it'd be a two hour show called "Buffy and Angel Star-crossed Lovers." They belong to the acid man Joss Whedon his workers, and the WB so none of you people sue me I'm just trying to get un-traumatized here. Do you really think that if I own them do you think their would've been B/R sex and B/P sex? If I did own them the only guy that Buffy has ever gotten intimate with would be Angel!
Spoilers: 'I Will Remember You' in a big way also some minor ones for 'Lie to Me' and 'Anne.'

Angel was watching his beloved sleep in admiration, watching her chest rise and fall with every breathe she took he wasn't use to sleeping at night and besides he loved watching Buffy sleep. He smiled as the last few hours replayed in his head over and over again. Remembering the mad passionate love making, on the kitchen table no less and then in bed.

All the wonderful food Buffy introduced him too, especially the chocolate and peanut butter combo and the cookie-dough-fudge-mint-chip ice cream. Buffy snuggled closer to him worried that he was gone, but smiled in her sleep when she felt Angel's newly born body heat warming her and his steady heartbeat. She burried her head into his shoulder. She was sleeping so peacfully. Like sleeping in Angel's arms made her feel safe like no forces of darkness could get to her and that Angel would protect her from any and all harm.

Angel chuckled quietly, he was so happy right now his soul was soaring with bliss. All his evil deeds when he was Angelus the one with the Angelic face vanished and were all the way in left field for the time being. Not just because he was human, but because he had his eternal sunlight with him again and in bed no less he couldn't possibly ask for more except for maybe a new kitchen table but he and Buffy would probilly finish that one off pretty quickly too, and now he was able to give her everything she deserves, just like he wanted for her but instead of some piece of meat as Angelus would put it if Buffy was with someone who's not him giving it to her it was him who was able to give it to her.

He was stirred out of his deep thoughts by hearing the door to his upstairs office open. Annoyed Angel got out of bed and reached for his robe and put it on since he was severly naked at the moment, and quietly opened the door so he wouldn't wake up his sleeping love. He saw that Doyle had been coming down the steps, he said "hay." Angel gestured for him to keep his voice down and Doyle said "Sorry. We have trouble the mohra demon is still alive."

"What!" Angel shouted quietly silently cursing the forces of evil in Gaelic for disturbing his and Buffy's reunion. "I had a vision, it appears that Mohra just didn't regenerate you put also himself." "Were?" "At the tunnel were you killed him it was kind of blury maybe it could've just been from that Margerita I had I'm not sure."

Angel slipped his clothes back on and started pacing "Well then I'll just have to kill it again then." The second those words were out he started to mentally beat himself with a mental shovel, he knew he didn't have his strength anymore. Doyle said "Yeah but your human now dont you think you should bring someone along that has special skills. Like maybe that pretty little Slayer of yours?" He said gesturing into the bedroom were Buffy was peacefully slumbering away.

"Look at her Doyle she looks so peaceful, I really hate to wake her..." Doyle said "Angel I really really think you should it'd be better odds if she fought him, instead of you, besides you could do something stupid that you'll probilly regret in the future." "Allright fine I'll go wake her up." Angel said impatiantly too the Irish half-demon "Good man." Angel went back into his bedroom, and kneeled down on Buffy's side of the bed.

He stroked her cheek and ran his fingers through her silky hair, he loved how Buffy's hair felt like silk in his hands, and said "Buffy, Buffy baby wake up. Wake up beloved." When she didn't wake up Angel said "Hmmmm" and reached down to kiss her on the lips.

Buffy felt Angel's warm lips on hers and kissed him back then he knew that she was awake. When they pulled away from each other, Buffy opened her sleepy eye's and said "Huh what? What is it Angel?" She sat up holding the sheets to her chest with her knees.

Angel rested his hand on her cheek and said "The mohra demon came back to life." "What! Ughh why cant the forces of darkness just give me one night off the job!" She grumbled silently cursing the forces of evil. Angel smiled sympothetically at her and said "I know baby. Come on we have to get going Doyle's waiting outside."

"We are you crazy Angel! Your human now, you wont stand much of a chance against the demon. I mean I'm not saying you cant fight it, but it's just more of a risk of you dying since your human now and dont have your strength and I dont
