Part 1

Sunnydale Hospital

"yes, it's about time." Angel slowing making his way out of the hospital on crutches. The doctors told him that he may have to stay on those for a month or so. Buffy was the first to greet him follow by Kelly and Ryan.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm okay I can't wait to get back home."

Frat House

"SURPRISE!"

"What's all this?"

"It's a welcome home party, we all miss you."

Angel then went over to the couch, Buffy slip under his arm and help him sit down. Someone crash the party later on. Angel decided to take care of this problem.

He grab his crutches and made his way over to Marc. "Hey your not invited here. Were going to have to ask you to leave."

"And what if I don't want to leave."

"Then were going to have to throw you out."

"Is that so, well I like to see you try." With that said Marc pushes Angel.

Buffy was by his side "are you alright?"

"yea I jus need to get use to the crutches." Ryan and the other guys then threw Marc out.

"Look I'm kind of tired can you help me?"

The next day at school

Buffy was getting read to go meet angel for lunch when someone tap her on the shoulder. "Hi Bryan"

Bryan had blonde hair and blue eyes. Before she met Angel she had a crush on him. "Hi Buffy, I'm really sorry about the way my brother acted yesterday. Marc's like
that these days. He just broke up with his girlfriend."

"It's okay, Angel wasn't hurt."

"So when do we start on our project?"

The funny thing about teachers, they like you to work in groups so they don't have to grade that many papers. "We could talk it over lunch, what do you say my treat?"

"I love to but I can't I'm meeting Angel and the guys for lunch. You could come."

"Ok, you sure you don't mind?"

"Hey" Buffy bend down and place a kiss on Angel's waiting lips. "This is Bryan, were working on a project for history together. Bryan this is Angel, Ryan, Kelly, and you know Willow and Oz." They all said their hellos and went on eating.

Part 2

"How did your presention go?" As Angel went over to greet Buffy.

"It was great, Bryan kick ass. The teacher loved it and gave us an "A."

"Buffy did a really good job herself. We should celebrate, how about dinner tomorrow night?"

"I cant', but you two should."

"Angel are you sure, I don't want to go if you can't."

"Buffy it's okay it's your project you can Bryan go. I have to go check in with the doctor."

"I'll see you tomorrow and Angel later man." It was harder holding Angel's hand when they walk cause of the crutches.

"Who's going to take you there?"

"Kelly has the day off so she's going to take me." They quickly found a empty bench and sat down.

"I'm so glad that the projects over, it's been so hard not seeing you."

"I feel the same way Buffy. I haven't seen you all last week, I miss you."

"Well let's see if I can make it up to you then." Buffy then leaned in to kiss Angel on the lips. They spend the rest of the day in each other's arms.

The next day

"so your going out with Bryan. Why?"

"Will, I told you it's to celebrate the A we got."

"Yea, but doesn't Angel mind. You going out to have dinner with another guy. And thaqt guy just happens to be very cute. The same guy that you had a crush on before Angel."

"That's the thing Angel trust me and he doesn't know I have a crush on him. If he did they well let's not go there."

Angel's place

"so where's Buffy?"

"She's going out with Bryan to have dinner."

"WHAT"

"she's going..."

"I got that but why?'

"She's going to celebrate the a they got."

"Angel man are you crazy? Your girlfriend is going out with another guy, alone."

"Yea so"

"so they could be doing stuff, she might cheat on you."

"Don't be silly Buffy wouldn't do that, I trust her."

"Yea her but what about him? Buffy was to busy to hang out with you all last week. Remember, Bryan stayed over at her place. He's playing with you, pretending to be your friend then when you least suspect anything he'll take your girlfriend."

"So what do we do, I have an appoinment."

"Duh cancel it."

"Good idea I better call Buffy and tell her I'm coming."

No, don't"

"so what am I doing?"

"We're going to spy on her."

"WE?"

"Yea, how are you going to get there? Plus you need help I've done this a thousand times."

~ At the restaurant ~

"Buffy are you okay, you seem kind of distracted." As Bryan scooted his chair closer to hers.

"It's just that after the project I was hoping to spend some time with Angel. It's been kind of hard for him being on crutches and everything."

~ Across the other table ~

It's been half an hour since Dylan and Angel got to the restaurant.

"Ack-um are you ready to order sir?"

Before Angel could order something Dylan butted in. "Yes, we would like some more water, and a couple of these bread sticks, that's all."

"Very well sir, I'll be back with some bread and water."

"Dylan don't you think that's just a little non-suitable for this kind of place."

"Angel, Angel you have got a lot to learn my friend. As soon as they leave we leave, but if we do order something we have to finish the food then follow them."

"But..."

"Just work with me okay, I'm a pro at this."

~ Back to Buffy's table ~

Bryan then takes Buffy's hand in his and said, "listen I'm sure Angel will be fine. He seems like the kind of guy who understands."

"Thanks"

"You're welcome" and he leans in to kiss her on the cheek.

~ Across the other table ~

"Did you see that? He's putting the moves on her already, this guy is good."

Angel felt his heart being broken all over again. "Come on let's get out of here, I've seen enough."

"Angel, man wait up."

As Angel got up on his crutches a waiter bumped into him and they both fell to the floor. Needless to say everybody in the restaurant was looking at them now. Dylan then helps Angel get back up.

~ Back at Buffy's table ~

"Hey isn't that your boyfriend?"

Buffy then stood up "Angel?" She then held towards Angel and Dylan.

"Buffy! Hi"

"Dylan what are you guys doing here?"

"You want to know what we are doing? Well we're spying on you okay and what did we see you cheating on Angel. I knew there was something going on between the two of you."

"Cut the crap Dylan you don't know what you're talking about. You have no right to spy on me and with my boyfriend no less.

Meanwhile Bryan then walks up to them and said "I think you guys are mis-understanding this whole situation. Buffy and I are just friend and I..." He didn't get the chance to finish as Angel sent a punch to his face.

"What the hell did you do that for?"

As Buffy went to check on Bryan. "Bryan are you okay?"

"Mommy, why's the room spinning?" As Buffy turned around Angel and Dylan are already gone.

At the Restaurant ~

"Huh, what happen?"

Hey are you okay? As Buffy helps Bryan up from the floor. "Well, got to give him credit at least he can still punch on crutches.

"I'm sorry about that, he's just worried about me.

At the Frat House

"Wow, man take it easy no need to drown your sorrows.

"Leave me alone okay Dylan. I don't need any more of your advises. I got enough for one day.

As Angel goes up to his room with a six-pack of beer. Dylan then yells, "dude it's just a girl, they come and go!

~ The Next Day ~ (Buffy and Willow's dorm room)

"I can't believe that he did that. He didn't seem like the type that would do that.

"Yea I know, but I don't think you can really blame Angel.

"Why not?

Well you guys haven't seen each other all week, and I guess that if I was in his position I would be a little curious to.

"It's not that Will, he should know better.

"Guys, they are so insecure why is that? So are you going to talk to him?

"I don't know, I'm kind of mad at him right now. Willow, I just don't get why that I always have to be the one to say sorry.

~Somewhere~

Marc walks into the room, "what the heck happen to you."

Bryan tries to do his best while holding a napkin to his nose to stop the bleeding.

"Buffy's boyfriend thought that I was hitting on her and he hit me."

"Ha, serves your right, you don't go out with a girl that has a boyfriend after your project is done."

~ At the Frat House ~

Willow walks up to the Frat house and knocks on the front door. "Hi is Angel here?"

"Yea hold on, ANGEL!"

As Angel walks toward the door he quickly spots Willow. "Hey"

"hey Angel, can I talk to you?"

Angel then sat down on the coach with her.

"Let me guess it's about Buffy? Cause if it is then I don't want to hear it."

That got Willow really mad. "You listen to me Angel, Buffy's sitting in our room crying her eyes out, because of you once again. I think you should at least go and talk to her, you owe her that much."

"Well if it means so much then why didn't she just come and talk to me herself."

"How thick are you, jeez guys. Why should she be the one to say sorry when you're the one that made a big deal about nothing? Now you come with me and talk to Buffy, I'll be waiting for you in the car."

~ Buffy and Willow's dorm room ~

There was a knock on Buffy's door. Quickly whipping away her tears Buffy went to open the door. "Angel"

"Hey can I come in?"

Buffy just opens the door wider. Angel was trying to use the crutches and maneuver himself to sit down on her bed but was having no real success at it. Buffy then slips her arm around his waste and helps him. "Thanks, listen I really don't know what to say."

"You could start by saying that you're sorry."

"Me, why do I have to say sorry for, you're the one who was cheating on me."

"Excuse me, I would never cheat on you. You are so dense sometimes"

Buffy then takes both of Angel's hands in hers. "Why would I cheat on my boyfriend who's caring, nice, sweetest, handsome, and loves me. For someone who's just good looking."

"I'm sorry, it's just that I haven't seen you for like a week and you were spending all your time with him. Then Dylan was all saying that he could do something. I just ...I got worried about you. I'm sorry if I over-reacted; do you think you can forgive me?

"Hmm I don't know if I should forgive you or not. You see I don't get why you would have to worry about losing me. I guess that you'll just have to convince me to forgive you." As Buffy straddle his waist and hooks her arms around his neck. "Let me think, now how do I do that. Oh I got it" as Angel brushed his lips against hers.

Later on at night

"Angel"

"hmmm"

"I forgive you" as Buffy, continue to draw small circles on his chest.

The next day

"what do you want to do today?"

"You mean other than staying in bed with you. Well we could go for a picnic outside it looks like it's going to be a beautiful day."

"Yea it is" Buffy then press a soft kiss against his lips.

Buffy and Angel walk outside the dorm holding hands. After finding the perfect place to sit down in the park. Angel pulled Buffy into his lap and wraps his arms around her. Buffy then place her hand over his and lace them together.

"So how long do you have to wear that?" Angel was no longer wearing a cast on his ankle it was now replaces by some tape
and other stuff.

"The doctor said I should wear it for three more days then I'll be as good as new."

"Good, but that means I can't play nurse anymore after that."

"Well we could always make an exception." Angel then lean down and kiss Buffy on the lips.

"Don't you two ever stop?" Looking up the see Kelly and Ryan smiling down on them.

"Hey you two, want to join us?"

"We love to but, we have plans to go somewhere already, next time."

"I'm kind of hungry what do we have?"

"Let's see we have the famous peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, apples, soda, a small container of ice cream and a bag of chips. What do you want to eat sweetheart?"

"You"

"Buffy, we're in public"

"ok fine how about some fruit you party pooper."

They soon finish the apples and sandwiches and moved on to the ice cream. Buffy had the container in her lap and scooted some of it for Angel. They spend most of the time feeding each other until Buffy decided to play games. As Buffy was going to give Angel some ice cream she purposely miss his mouth and got his nose.

"Ha ha very funny Buffy"

"thanks, I thought so"

Buffy then kiss his nose to get the ice cream off.

"It should be like this all the time. You, me and a nice quite place to relax."

Angel kisses Buffy on the head and lean back against the tree. "Do you want me to go to Giles's place with you?"

"Yea, I just need to check in then we'll leave for some alone time. Just you and me and a big comfortable bed."

"I like that idea, which reminds me the guys at the frat house are having this thing and well it's for helping out kids who are less fortunate and it's a good thing for them. So I was wondering if you're free on Saturday to help me with it."

"I love to but I don't know if I'll be a big help. Working with you is to distracting to me."

"Oh please, who's distracting who right now with the shirt your wearing now. It's so low, I can see stuff from up here."

Buffy had to laugh at him "it's suppose to other wise why would I buy it. Anyways they can see but only you can touch."

"Fair enough, have I told you how much I love you today?"

"No, I was wondering when you were."

"Well you have to forgive me then." Angel then stood up with a little help from Buffy.

"Angel what are you doing?"

"I LOVE YOU BUFFY ANNE SUMMERS!" as Angel shouted out Buffy couldn't help but smile at him.

Part 6
Saturday

The park just a block off campus was transform into a party place. Somewhere in the middle of all the other events Angel was playing tag with the kids. A while later Angel went to the table and talk to Ryan.

"Here you look like you need this." As Ryan gave Angel his soda.

"So did you see Buffy yet? She said that she was going to bring Oz, Willow, Cordy and Xander to help."

As soon as he said his eyes were soon cover with a pair of small hands. "Guess who" as Buffy whisper into his ear.

"Hmm, Juile?" Angel answer with a smile.

"you should be so luck" as Buffy walk away with her arms folded across her chest.

"I knew it was you all the time Buffy I was just playing around. I'm sorry, will you accept my appologie?"

"Appolige accept, now what do you need help in doing?"

Angel then soon notice what Buffy was wearing and pointed to Buffy's mini secret "what are you wearing? That bearley covers you" Angel then grabs Buffy's hand "stand up" as Buffy stands up Angle goes and pulls down her skirt a little. "There all better"

Buffy then role her eyes at her boyfriend, leave it to the guys.

As soon as they all got what they were suppose to do they went to their stations. Buffy was of course pair off with Angel. Each member has a group of kids to look after and they are suppose to make something. Then after that they have a break and later on all the groups compete in games with their group leaders and who ever wins well they get a prize.

"Hey kids, seddle down I want you to meet someone okay. This is Buffy Summers and she'll be in our group so if you need anything you can go to her or me."

Buffy went around the tables that were set up "Angel I got the perfect idea on what we should make. We should make a guardian angel one with wings and a halo."

"Where did you get that idea?"

"Well I was thinking about what you said before how some of these kids don't have homes and some probably won't live till next year. It'll be a real insprition, let them know that someone is always watching over them."

After everyone was done they showed off what was made. Cordy and Xander's group made a man eating a twinke and dress in expensive cloths. Willow and Oz's group made little guitars that are eatable. Kelly and Ryan's group was making a hat out of flowers. Break time soon came so they all gather into the middle of the park to eat. Soon it came time to compete in the events they had a pie eating contest, a corse where you had to jump through hoops and tag your team-mate, they also had a booth set up for where you get a baseball and try to hit the mark,they had a basketball game, and last but not least toug-of-war. For the pie eating contest Xander's team was up against Kelly's.

"On your mark get set go"

Cordy was the only one sitting their with a fork in her hand eating the pie everyone else had their faces in it. Xander's team won cause he ate two pies which sort of makes up for Cordys. Buffy and Angel's team was on the basketball court playing against Willow and Oz's team. This was a crazy game kids were jumping on Angel's back and running all over the place. In the end Angel's team pulled out with a win. They had a game for the two loosing teams it was between Ryan's team and Oz's team. The object of this game was for each group they volunteer a group leader to sit in this chair where the other team tries to hit this spot where you get drop into the water. Needless to say that Kelly and Ryan's group was the looser of all the groups. Now for the winning game had two events the first one was each
member of the team must go against the other team on this rotating walkway with water underneath. Inorder for the team to gain points you have to knock the opponet off with the plastic tube. First up was Buffy against Cordy. Cordy had the first swing and Buffy being the slayer and all easily knock Cordy down. They last two up was Angel and Xander who ever get's knock down looses this game. Angle hit Xander on the leg then Xander countered with a swing to the shoulder. Angel then manges to push Xander back with the tube which cause him to loose his balance. The same game was toug-of-war now with Buffy being the slayer and everything they thought that it was unfair so they only had six people on the tough of war against twelve. Still Xander was loosing so he decided to try using a distraction. Buffy look it's David Boreanaz. He knew that ever since she saw him on screen she fell for him. Buffy then turn around letting go of the rope which cause Angel to be pulled into the mud pit.

Angel then glare at Buffy "oops sorry honey are you okay?"

Angel deciding to get her back pulled her in the mud pit with him.

"Aaaaahhhhh what did you do that for?"

Later on at Buffy's place

Angel and Buffy were sitting on the love seat. Oz and Willow were sitting on the other couch just enjoying being next to each other. Kelly, Ryan, Xander, and Cordy were both on the floor eating chips.

"This is the life, girls, food, television, what more could a guy want?"

"Gee, Xander can you say a one track mind?"

As Buffy leaned in closer to Angel and gives him one of her famous smiles.

"Yea, you should be the one to talk Buffy, you had a one track mind when you had that crush on Bryan."

Everyone then turn his or her heads towards him. Xander then realizes what he just said "ha ha that was a joke did you guys get it."

Buffy then look up at Angel seeing his hurt face. "Dylan was right wasn't he? How could I be so stupid, I knew there was something going on between you two."

"Are you done, I already told you Angel that's in the past and it's a silly little crush. Look what we have now that's true love and I wouldn't give it up for the word."

"Well maybe not now but later on what if you change your mind. Think about it Buffy you're beautiful, funny and smart; guys look at you. Sometimes I wonder if it's fair for you to be with me. What are we going to do after college are we still going to be together, I can't help but think. What if things...Buffy then silence him with a kiss

"Don't think Angel just feel" and she kiss him again.

Her mom shaking her shoulder lightly awakened Buffy. "Buffy honey wake up"

"mom, what time is it? It looks like the sun is barley coming out."

"It's only five in the morning but I think there's something you have to see. Get dress and come down stairs."

Buffy got out of bed slowly and made her way downstairs. "Ok mom I'm here, so what's so important that I have to be up at the crack of dawn."

Joyce had to smile at her "here put this jack on and go outside to take a look yourself."

When Buffy open the door there was a trail of rose petals leading outside. The trail ended with Angel standing there with a dozen long stem red roses.

"Oh gosh I can't believe you did all this."

"Well your mom help a little. So will you be my valentine?"

"Ofcourse, now get inside your going to catch a cold." Buffy was hugging Angel trying to give him some warmth.

"Actually you're coming with me, I have something to show you."

"Ok just let me tell my mom." Buffy gave him a look

"your mom already knows"

"you think of everything don't you."

Angel smiles and went to the car to open the door for Buffy.

When the both got in the car Angel gave her a kiss on the cheek and said "your going to have to put this on" holding up a blindfold.

After a while Angel soon stop the car, he then went over to Buffy's side and let her out. He then took off her blindfold. Buffy was speechless; she had never seen it this early. Angel then interrupted her thoughts with his voice.

"I came across this place a while back and sometime I would come up here just to think. I was hoping that you would sit here and watch the sunrise with me." With no reply from her he quickly said, "I brought blankets so you won't get cold."

So there they were a couple in love watching the sunrise with blankest tightly wrap around them both. Buffy suddenly spotted a tree she then came up with an idea. Grabbing Angel's hand they went in the direction of the tree.

"Give me your pocket knife."

Angel then gave it to her and asks, "what are you doing?"

"I'm carving our names in this tree."

The tree turned out beautiful with Buffy and Angel written in the middle with a heart around their names. They past most of the day together in each other's company. Angel then drops Buffy off at her house. "

You sure you don't want to come in?"

"I can't I have to go pick up something and you have to change. I'll be back in an hour then we'll go to the bronze." Angel then leaned down to give Buffy a kiss.

They then went to the Bronze together. Making way to their table Buffy sat down on Angel's lap.

"So Buff what did Angel get you?"

"I don't yet Xander, oh I love this song come on Angel let's dance."

Angel's phone then went off. Everyone at the table was waiting to see who it was. He then looked at Buffy

"I have to go some of the guys got arrested and I have to bail them out."

Buffy then gave him a disappointed look "it's Valentine's Day"

Angel was feeling really bad but he had to stick with the plan. "I know baby, I'll be back soon I promise."

Angel pulled up to Buffy's house as Joyce was opening the door for him. Buffy was then left to spend half and hour waiting for Angel till he came back. After some more dancing then decided to call it a night and all go home. Buffy then walks into her room follow by Angel. The room was filled with balloons that had I love you on it and be mine. Then the flowers were scattered all across the room.

"When did you do this? It's beautiful thank you so much."

"When I told you that I had to bail the guys out at the Bronze that was just a reason so I could come here and set this up. I'm sorry I wasn't there."

"Don't be this is lovely and I haven't even given you your present yet."

"We can exchange it after we eat."

"What are we eating by the way?"

"I'm cooking dinner for the both of us. Before you say anything yes I do know how to cook so don't worry about it."

"Mmmhhhh this is delicious, how come you never cook for me before?"

"I don't know so you want to exchange gifts now?"

"Sure"

they move to the coach and sat down. Buffy handed Angel his present first. It was a bracelet, a teddy bear that has a little stake in his hand, and a book of pictures with the two of them.

"Thank you these are great now it makes my present look stupid."

"You done enough for me already Angel, you don't have to give me anything, I have everything that I could want."

Angel then handed Buffy her gift "is this?"

It's a promise ring with Buffy and Angel inscribed on the inside. "I know it's not much, but..."

He was cut off by Buffy's lips on his.

"Can you believe that Matt is getting married?" Matt was one of Angel's friends that went to the same high school as him. Buffy met him a couple of times and he seems like a nice guy.

"No not really, in fact I'm surprised that he's getting married at all. He's only twenty five years old."

As Buffy snuggles closer to Angel. "Come on Buffy he's only two years older then us."

"Still I don't know if I can just settle down at that age. Don't get me wrong Angel, I like Matt and everything, but to think about marriage that's just a little to fast for me."

"Oh that reminds me I have to go to his bachelor party this Sunday."

"So this bachelor party are there going to be you know any...strippers there?"

"I don't know Buffy, but you don't have to worry about me. I'm a one-girl kind of guy, plus us guys have more willpower then girls. As soon as those words left his mouth he knew he was going to regret ever saying it. Sure enough Buffy whip around to face him

"What's that suppose to mean?"

Holding both of his hands up "nothing honey, it's just that girls are like that."

"Oh really, care to make a little bet on that sweetie?"

"Buffy, I don't have to make a bet with you, I know I'm going to win."

"Okay then Mr. I'm all that and a bag of chips, since you're so sure then I guess you wouldn't mind if I see if you got what it takes."

Angel then smiled thinking this is almost to easy. "If you're willing to loose then Buffy what are the terms?"

"If you give into sex then you loose."

"WHAT, fine whatever. If you buy another pair of shoes then you loose."

"That's not fair you know we have to go to the wedding this week. What do you expect me to wear."

"I think it's only fair if I can't have sex then you don't get shoes. You know it's not to late to back out."

"No way I can deal here's the thing. If you win then I'll admit that I'm wrong"

"AND" angel waiting for her to finish "and I won't drag you with me to the ballet next week. If I win then you're going to the ballet AND you have to go shopping with me for the whole day."

Angel thinking Oh no shopping for the whole day not good, but that won't happen to me.

"Deal" and they shook hands.

~Expresso Pump~

"So let me get this straight you actually sucker Angel into this bet. Oh I can't wait to see this." As Willow and Buffy wait for their mochas to arrive.

"Yep, now all I have to do is find a way to get him to give in. Got any ideas?"

"Actually...hey Angel." Angel then took a seat on one of the empty chairs.

"Hey Willow, hey sweetheart." He leans into give Buffy a kiss on the cheek instead she turns her head so they were mouth to mouth. "So what are you ladies up to?"

"Oh nothing, just the usual girl talk. Am I going to see you tomorrow?" Buffy got off her seat to place herself on his lap.

"Probably not, Ryan and I still need to grab some more stuff for the party at the house. Anyway I been meaning to ask you this, I need to get something at the mall and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me."

Buffy not thinking at all said "okay."

Score one for Angel now all he needs to go is get Buffy to buy a pair of shoes.

When they arrive at the mall Angel went straight to the shoe department. "Buffy honey, I need to get something do you think you can wait here. I'll only be gone for about ten minutes."

"Sure" and she gave him a soft peck on the cheek. Angel went and got his stuff and still had about five minutes to spear. Instead of going inside to the shoe store he decided to stay outside and spy on Buffy. Sure enough there was Buffy already trying on a pair of shoes.

"I just love the way this looks, I think that it'll go really well with my dress."

"Do you want me to bring it up for you miss?"

"Yyyyyeeeee... um no" as Buffy remember he bet with Angel. That sneaky... her thoughts were soon interrupted by the voice of the sales clerk.

"Is their something wrong with the shoes?"

"No there's nothing wrong with it. I just remember that I had made a bet with my boyfriend on not to buy and shoes. I'm sorry maybe some other time."

"Hey you, did you see anything you like?" As Angel wrap his arms around Buffy's waist.

"Ha ha very funny, you're pretty slick Angel. You almost got me."

"Almost that's the key word."

"Come on" as Buffy drag Angel out of the store. Buffy wanted to get some underwear for tonight. Who knows maybe he'll give in?

"Angel I have to use the ladies room."

"Um okay, well I'll wait for you inside this store."

"Sure, I'll be right back." After she makes sure that angel wasn't looking she quickly made her way into the underwear store. After he quick purchase she stuff the bag into her purse so Angel won't suspect anything.

~ Sunnydale Cinema ~

"Two tickets please" Buffy had called Willow early to ask her what movie would be right to put her plan into motion.

"Um Buffy are you sure this is what you want to see. It could be anything, why don't you pick something else?"

"Come on Angel, I really want to see this. Please do it for me?"

"Oh alright, it just better be good." After entering the theater they headed straight for the refinishments.

"I like some popcorn, a large coke, some of this and some of that." It still amazed Angel how much Buffy can eat.

"Where do you want to sit?" Angel was trying to balance all the junk food in his hands. Buffy leaded them all the way to he back. The seats were known as the makeout seats. Five minutes into the movie and Angel was bored out of his mind.

"Angel quit trying to make out with me I'm trying to watch the movie."

"Buffy this movie is so boring can..."

Okay so this movie had a lot of people going at it like bunnies, it was just another step to winning the bet Buffy thought. After the movie was over Buffy found herself pressed up against Angel's car.

"My place" as Angel tries to catch his breath. The only thing Buffy could do was nod in response.

As soon as they got out of the car they couldn't keep their hands of each other. It had gotten to the point where Buffy had managed to pull Angel's shirt off and loose her tank top at the same time. Now she's working on his belt. When suddenly the phone rang it wasn't until the answering machine went to till it got Angel's attention.

"Hey Angel man I sure hope we got enough beers for the party. Anyway good news, we got reservations at Hooters from 7pm to 10pm. Then it's back to our place for a little show. Well catch you later dude."

That was when it dawns on Angel. Party + Movie + Buffy = Bet. "You, I can't believe you would sink so low."

"Me how about you, when you left me alone in the shoe store? I would of won anyway if your friend didn't interrupt us." Buffy then put on Angel's discarded shirt."

"this is childish Buffy, do you want to call a truce for the rest of the day?"

"Fine, I wouldn't want you to sleep on the couch anyway. So Hooters huh, typical that's all the male species thinks about now."

"Hey I resent that, we think of a lot of things to." Buffy then punches him on the arm.

~ Angel's apartment ~

Angel was the first one to wake up. He tried to stretch without waking up Buffy. Too late, Buffy had now woken up.

"Hi" as she puts her forehead against his.

"Morning"

"hmmm, what time is it?"

"Ten minutes till nine."

"To early" as she leans in to give him a kiss.

"Hey Angel are you up yet? Hurry up we're going to be late." Ryan then walks into the bedroom. "Whoops, sorry didn't know you two kids were getting your grove on. I'll just excuse myself and wait outside."

Buffy tries to hide her face in the crook of his neck.

"Do we really have to go? We can just pretend that he isn't even here."

"Are you kidding me and miss out on going to Hooters, no way." Buffy then snatches up her pillow and hits him with it. "I was just joking, Buffy, you know I love you."

"Sure you say that now, but when you get there you'll be like Buffy who?"

After ten minutes they finally made it out of the bedroom. Ryan then put down his cup of coffee. "Finally, it took you guys long enough. Jeez you guys are worst then me."

"Ha ha very funny, I'm going to take a shower then we'll go."

"Sure thing" after making sure that Angel was in the shower Buffy made her move.

"Hey Ryan, what to help me play a trick on Angel?"

"Sure, I'm always up for that. What do you have in mind?"

"Do you guys have room for one more stripper tonight?"

~ Outside Buffy/Willow's apartment ~

"So I'll see you tomorrow?"

"Yea, I'll call you" as Angel walks Buffy up to the door.

"Bye, don't have to much fun tonight."

"I won't" as Angel walked back to the car.

~ Matt's house ~

"What took you guys so long?"

"I had to send Buffy home, sorry about that man."

Matt hops in the car "don't worry about it, let's get going huh it's my last day of freedom before I'm officially tied down for good." They drove off to the nearest cafe.

~ Hooters ~

"Hi welcome to Hooters, my name is Jasmine. If you have any questions feel free to ask me. we here at Hooters want to make your stay here a special one."

"Yea, this is my kind of place; bring on the buffalo wings."

~ Willow and Buffy's apartment ~

"I can't believe that you are going through with this."

"Oh what I wouldn't give to be there tonight and see this." Cordy then handed Buffy another shirt.

"Well they could always use more strippers at the party."

~ Angel's place ~

"Wooohooo party" as more of Matt's friends started to show up. Two hours into the party.

"Dude when are the strippers showing up?" (ding dong) the first two strippers had showed up.

"So which one of you is the luck groom to be?"

Everyone pointed to Matt. Half an hour one more stripper showed up along with two guys. Ryan was the one to open the door.

"Hey you're late and who are these two?"

"Hey Ryan, they're my friends and thanks for doing this."

"No problem, I can't wait to see his reaction."

Buffy quickly spotted Angel sitting in the corner of the room with a beer in his hand.

"Hey their good looking" Angel turned hid head to see who she was talking to but no one was around.

"You're talking to me right?"

Buffy nodded "so what's a stud like you doing sitting here all alone?"

"I was just thinking" as Angel took another sip of his beer.

"Well we can't have that now can we. Come on let's dance." Buffy drag Angel out onto the dance floor. You can see the two guys that came in with Buffy changed the song. She started to do her sexy dance. When it was over their foreheads were close to touching. Angel quickly excuse himself from her. Buffy follow Angel out onto the balcony.

"Hey you okay?"

"Yea, it just got kind of intense in there. I have a girlfriend so I can't have these feelings."

That brought a smile to Buffy's face "I understand I have a boyfriend too."

"So what does he think of you job."

"He's in jail"

"WHAT"

"Is there a problem with that?" Buffy was bitting her cheek to keep from laughing.

"No, I'm just surprised. You're really beautiful and you probably have a nicer personality and everything. I think... forget it."

"Enough about my boyfriend what about your girlfriend?"

"She's great, smart, funny she just brings out the best in people you know."

"Hey Angel this is for you" as one of the guys hands him a slip of paper.

(The girl infront of you is not a stripper, she's Buffy) Angel was already thinking of a way to get her back.

"On the other hand Buffy can be a little annoying. She's always weird after slaying. The conssiant nagging that I have to listen to on and on. Oh, she's always doing something sneak like dressing up and pretending to be a stripper."

"Oh, ha ha very funny Angel."

Angel then wraps his arms around Buffy's waist. "Listen Buffy, I'm sorry that we ever made this stupid bet. I miss you already and it's just hard to be around you and not touch you."

"Yea I know me, what do you say that we call a truce and go home to do a little celebration of our own?"

"I think you go yourself a deal."

Buffy and Angel were patrolling on this Friday night. "It's kind of quite tonight, I say that we give it another hour then go."

Suddenly out of nowhere five vampires showed up. "I hope we aren't interrupting anything."

As the first vampire growl ready to attack. Angel soon found him-self being surrounded by three of the five vampires. Suddenly Angel's eyes turned red as he fought off the vampires.

Buffy was going too over to help him when she saw his red eyes. After all the vampires were dusted Buffy walk back to Angel whose eyes were now back to the deep brown color that it is. Buffy decides that she was just seeing things and decides to let the subject go. That was the first time that she saw it but not the last.

A couple of weeks later, in Willow and Buffy's dorm room. During the past weeks Buffy and Willow were talking about Angel.

"Maybe you're just seeing things"

"Willow I'm telling you I saw it with my own eyes. His eyes were red, the whole thing. Last night when we were kissing I swear I could feel fangs. He's been acting so weird lately. I just don't know what to do.

Buffy was getting really worried with Angel. As she walk into his room she was shocked to see him turn around with fangs.

"Oh my gosh, what's happening to you?"

"Stay away from me Buffy, I don't want to hurt you."

"Angel please talk to me" as she step closer to him.

"I don't know" as Angel broke down and started to cry.

They decided that Giles would have some sort of solution to this and started walking to his place.

"Giles what's happening to me?"

"Honestly Angel, I don't know. I'll do my best and look into this subject for you. For the time being why don't you go home and rest."

Angel then took Buffy's hand and left.

Buffy was the first one to break the silence "What do you think is happening to you?" Taking a deep breath before he turn and looked at her. For the first time in his
life he was actually scared.

"I don't know Buffy."

Four years later

As he drove past the welcome to Sunnydale sign he couldn't help but think of what happen. Leaving Buffy was the hardest thing he had to do.

"Hey what's with the sad face. I though we went through this, no brooding Giles will come up with an answer."

Taking a deep breath "there's no easy way for me to say this but I'm leaving."

"WHAT? Where did this suddenly come from?"

"I can't be around you anymore. I don't know if I can control my self. Look at me I'm a freak. I don't even think I'm human anymore. I gave you the promise ring for a reason and this was it. I have to find out what this all means. What I am or if I'll ever be normal again. I won't ask you to wait for me, I can't do that to you it wouldn't be fair."

Buffy then throws her hands up in the air. "Newsflash Angel life's not fair at least to me it isn't"

"You think that this is easy for me to say. I love you so much its killing to tell you all of this."

"Then don't say it, you think I like hearing this. I told you before that what ever the problem is we can work it out."

"You want to know what the problem is, it's me okay. I don't know what's going to happen to me and I'm not going to put people's lives in danger because of it."

Here he was back in Sunnydale

"It's good to be home."

His first desentation was to unpack then go to Buffy's house and try to work things out between them. After coming back from Buffy's house he was informed that she moved. Not knowing where else to go. He soon found his legs leading him to the Coffee shop. Sure enough there was Willow standing in life waiting for her cup of mocha. Angel decided to make his way over there and tap her on the shoulder.

Willow was shock and almost drop her money. "Angel, when did you come back?"

"Two days ago, how's everyone doing?"

"Buffy's doing just fine."

"You know me to well Willow. Do you know where she lives now? I went by her house earlier but they said that she moved."

"Before I answer you question, are you going to break her heart again? If you are then I suggest you get the hell away from her and us. We don't need a depressed Buffy."

"I understand that..."

"NO, I don't think that you understand. Ever since you left, things just haven't been the same for her. You weren't here to comfort her when she cried over you every night. You don't have any idea what she went through, so don't come back here and expect her to be what she was. We all change Angel; here's her address. Good Luck" with that said Willow walked away.

So here he is standing in front of her apartment building. Working up enough courage he soon found himself right in front of the door. As he raises his hand to knock on the door, it suddenly opens. It turns out that Buffy was leaving when she lifted her head up to see Angel. It's moments like these that make time seem to stop when they were together.

"Hi" not even bothering to say hi Buffy just asks, "What are you doing here?"

"Not exactly the welcoming party I was expect but I came to talk to you."

"Look is this going to take a long time cause I have to go to work."

"I'm sorry I'll come back later."

"Good it's what you do the best. If you have something to say then say it now. I don't have time for you later."

"Look I just wanted to say that I'm sorry if I caught you at a bad time."

Then all of a sudden Buffy punch him.

As Angel regained conciseness soon found himself sitting in a couch.

"Good, it sure took you long enough. Here put this on you eye." It finally occurred to him that Buffy had punch and given him a black eye. "What are you doing back here?"

"I miss you and I understand that I have no right to come back into you life again. But you have no idea how much I want to. I don't know if you'll even accept
me for what I've become."

"You can't just disappear for four years and come back pretending that everything was the way it was before you left. God Angel, four years, do you have any idea how long that is? I've changed Angel. I'm not the same Buffy that you use to know, not anymore."

"I know that Buffy, I didn't come back here to fight with you. I know that you've moved on and I accept that. I've made a mistake four years ago. This time around things are going to be different you'll see. I going to try everything that I can to get you back. That's a promise that I'm willing to make" as he turned around and walk away. Leading behind a teary eye Buffy.
